Has anybody else noticed that they already put all the Halloween candy out in CVS? Given the worldwide supply-chain problems, I really appreciate CVS getting ahead of the curve and making sure every American child has plenty of processed sugar for October.

I immediately purchased three bags of treat-sized Paydays and four bags of white Reese's Thins so that I can satisfy all the expected children who show up this year on October 31. Because based on last year's numbers, I'm expecting demand to double, from one kid to two.

Tell me  your favorite brand of ”snack-sized" rip-off teeny-tiny Halloween candy--I don't wanna be out of stock on anything. 🎃

Wait. Is that the infamous Bigger-than-Sam-Jones' JBB banner?

Full size candy bars or GTFO. And I sneak an extra one to kids who had a great costume. Skittles, Snickers, Kit-Kats, the works. Mini rant: this whole "trunk or treat" crap is a scourge on our community. Why go door to door, meeting your neighbors and involving the whole neighborhood when you can just have kids bounce around in a crowded parking lot, huffing carbon monoxide in a long, dull line only to get a few zagnuts from Pastor Sam and the lady that drives the school bus? The whole concept is ruining Halloween. In a generation or two, we'll probably forget about trick or treating and just hand out cards.

Personally I’ve always been a fan of the fun sized cookies and cream Hershey bars, and the fun size snickers but that’s just me

Not so much a favorite, Sam’s Club is selling 5 gallon buckets of Reese’s Snack Sized Peanut Butter Cups

I can't eat them anymore, because I developed a peanut allergy, but Paydays were my jam. That and Snickers. Can't go wrong with either.

Original Payday without a doubt. I like unadulterated salt in my salty sweets.

Now that I'm older and I don't get ToTers, candy for me involves alcohol. I make a drink with Ole Smoky Pumpkin Pie Whiskey, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey and Borgata Chocolate Liqueur. Tastes like a pumpkin flavored Reeses Peanut Butter Cup. Yum!
