Howdy, Patreon Pals! This was meant to be your Sunday Funday post yesterday but I got crazy busy and way behind with everything (as usual 😋). So, let’s call it Monday Funday, shall we? 😉

This is a lil compilation of clips from a short film JB did for Stephen King’s Dollar Babies. (If you aren't familiar with what that is, #GoogleThatFucker. It’s a pretty interesting concept.)

Part of the stipulation for these projects was that they could only be shown at film festivals. That’s why we only have clips instead of the whole   short. (#loophole! 😉)

The gist of the story is that JB‘s character is a traveling salesman considering suicide. JB said he spent a lot of time getting into that mindset for this role, and I think that’s evident even in these clips. 🥰

Right now JB and I are on a flight from Chicago to Boston for the first show in our AGFA tour. here’s a lil pic in his travel gear fer ya! 😋❤️

Have a great night, and we look fwd to seeing some of you tomw! ❤️

That was trippy. I think this replaced Hogzilla as my favorite obscure JB role. No joke those rules at the end legit seems like something he would say in real life lol

All That You Love Will Be Carried Away! Always a standout short story from King for me. JB really nails the feel of Stephen King in this, I get the feeling he really “gets” it when it comes to his work.

This is so good. I wish I could see the whole thing somehow. Or Joe Bob Briggs in a feature length depressing indy film. That needs to happen.

Great little film. I even got a little teary eyed at the end. Also, what a treat to see Harvey Pekar playing the motel clerk.

One of my favorite King shorts. Never imagined JB in the role, but he gives it that charm I think King intended for the character.

Those rules for choosing a hotel room do sound very Joe Bob.
