My thoughts:
Presenting the first ep of "Joe Bob's Summer School" , a kind of mini-series within Monstervision that I would loooooooooooove to get him to do again. (Please help bug him about it so we can pester him into making this happen! ;)
It's also the first appearance in these archives of Reno the Mail Girl. I love the letter she brought out bc it shows folks were ALWAYS complaining about movie choices, not just during our current show. ;) FUN MG FACT: The previous MGs did not actually handle the mail at all. They were 100% actresses who just read the script and brought out whatever letter JB chose. On The Last Drive-In, though, I'm 2000000% in charge of mail (for better or worse...I 'm not naturally a very organized person so I do fuck it up sometimes ;). I mention this fact only to show how the role has evolved since these shows, mostly due to being on a streaming service instead of cable. We all kinda pitch in wherever we can to make the show work, since we ain't got that TNT $$$ backing us, yo!! ;)
I also thought it was kinda funny that JB did his teacher schtick on BTTF, bc I did the same thing awhile back...If you look close you can see that all the stuff written on it is teachings from BTTF. What a coinkidink!! :P
