"Just outside of the Sagoli Desert, the small yet luscious oasis within Southern Thanalan has been a respite for the Cactuar population for generations.  With the recent influx of Aether still mysteriously escaping throughout the land, the flora and fauna continue to find themselves having unique and adverse reactions, though perhaps none yet so beautiful to be discovered as the large, pink flowers that have started to adorn the male Cactuar populi.  In the past, these flowers have been used as a sign of stature for fellow mates, but the size and beauty of them have seemingly only increased tenfold as the creatures get exposed to these sudden increases in Aether.  We still aren't sure of any other potential adverse effects, but the flowers seem to fall off eventually, making them an incredible decoration and ultimately a brand new subject for the botany guild to research."
