And now it is time to close down the January Patron Only Poll. For those among you who are new, this is also kind of new. Ending a poll this early is to let me get started on one of the monthly chapters right away. This is especially helpful if I’ve already written out a full outline for the chapter.

So without further ado, here are the results:

In last place by a hilariously bad margin, is Climbing Together. It brought in 777 votes. While kind of funny a number, I am a little disappointed at how badly it did. Still, nothing new there, really.

In third place, (UGH) is Heroes of the High Seas. It brought in 1221. Not bad, but not great. Maybe since it will be getting the carry over effect in February it can be updated then? I can only hope.

In second place, Making Waves, with 1,325.

But there is a reason why I didn’t vote even for MW, folks, because the winner, even before adding in the carry-over effect, was King of Champions. The 799 votes from last month made it’s victory overpowering, with 2,601 votes.

Wow. Just… wow.

So there we go. A return to the paring of H/A/P/T this month.

I will be taking tomorrow to start work on this, posting the two January polls, and responding to all the questions in the various question threads I started most recently. I already saw a lot of those responses, but haven’t had the time to respond. But I will say I loved all the feedback guys. Feedback is just amazingly good to get the muse flowing.

Once more, Happy New Year, folks!

Can't say I'm surprised by these results. After all, you're doing something a lot of people find interesting. You're doing a combination of world-building and nation building. We can all see it, that Harry's eventually gonna become the King of a new nation after he leaves Beacon. That being said, it's frustrating to see High Seas Heroes sidelined AGAIN!!

Yeah... I reaaaalllly wish that it was getting more votes. But even from a simply user perspective (that is, the number of people who chose it rather than the votes) it only had 69 voters. Now, while kind of amusing in a HUrhur, Beavis and Butthead kind of way, that is nothing to the other fics - 79, 170 (and 56 for Climbing) so... yeah...
