edit: Apologies, folks, but Patreon was screwing up somehow.  Everyone should be able to vote on it now.

Hey all. Given how busy I will be, I had hoped to know by this point what my December would like like in RL. I don’t, so that has somewhat changed my plans going forward.

Now, before we get to the actual poll, here are my thoughts on the December Format. You all are perverts. That is all.

But seriously, I was amused by how badly choice one (picking up a story idea and giving you all a one shot) beat out the other choices. I was certain the idea of following up on my DC/Ranma cross or my Adventure homage fic would garner more attention. But either the power of the pervert or the idea of my taking up a HP story idea really brought in many of the votes.

Not a good voter turnout in total though. Only 291 votes across the board. Surprising. I can only hope that shows my reader’s trust in my writing skills that most of you will just enjoy any of my stories. Thank You.

Anyway, this has definitely worked to give me a idea going forward as to what to do in January. The changes to the choices on this poll reflect that. What will also be reflected in this poll is which fandom I look to for my fourth story in December, the story idea. Yes, it will probably be Kuroinu. Just because I told you all you were perverts doesn’t mean I’m not one LOL. And stories like An Archer’s Promise and the AO3 Gamer crossover are really good. But the fandom I will cross it with is still up in the air…

And if Heroes of the High Seas wins? Well, since Ranma got two updates in November, maybe HP should get two updates in December… so if you are an HP fan, but don’t like either of the HP patron only choices, maybe you should vote for Heroes? I know I will be. I don’t see Stallion losing in the Ranma poll (it will astonishingly get the carry over effect), and I don’t care which HP poll wins.

And yes, folks, it is back. It was off the poll for November (didn’t have anyone tell me they were joining up for it) and it is back in the rotation. BUT… if it doesn’t win at least once before march, I will probably have to remove it. If even my voting for it and the carry over effect can’t pull out a win, it’s time to admit failure.

The choices are:

Heroes of the High Seas – MHA/One Piece Crossover: Hearing of an island oppressed, the heroes in training (and their two supporters) cannot stop themselves from getting involved. After a bit of a debate and a decision to hide some of their skills (Cough, Momo’s abilities) Izuku makes a plan to use the cover of night to get past the giant artillery gun. But their new ‘friends’ prove somewhat untrustworthy, having their own plans going forward, which have more to do with theft than freeing people. The island is found, and the various traps overcome through the power of sound and ice prior to reaching the top of Clockwork Island, whose people are indeed oppressed by the Trump Pirates. This time the heroes have a harder time of it against a prepared enemy with a lot of noncombatants around, forcing Mei, Momo and Shoto onto the defensive as Bear King proves a threat almost on a All Might scale, with the outcome very much in doubt as their two toughest fighters are stymied, forcing Iida and the others step up.

Making Waves – Ranma/Fairy Tail Crossover:  With a dragon to talk to rather than war with, Ranma and his companions settle down into Ven’anuel. Spreading out to finally get some real time away from one another while also debating their next moves leads to some fun times, some troubles, and Natsu running into the reason why some of the city still has power. Dealing with this problem in his typical fashion fails, but Natsu’s second skill of making friends with people he’s tried to punch works better to Gajeel’s chagrin. Kurnugi offers a deal, which is gleefully picked up, and after a few days of scouting and planning, leading to the knowledge that the dragonets from the north can indeed grow much bigger, and that their Queen is a bitch. A slow, probing war begins as the Dragon Slayers start to live up to their name and take the next stage in their training. But at the same time, Acnologia starts his own war against the Alvarez Empire…

Death’s Avenger – HP/WoW crossover: Harry gets to know the Unseen Path, and vice versa. Sylina and Harry take a few oaths, whereupon Harry is introduced to another new brand of local magic, is told of a missing relic, and deals with a returned Tricksy. Some bits of training occur, as Harry gets a good deal of geographic knowledge pounded into his head and Sylina protests about history lessons. Gleeful that the Unseen Path believe in hands-on learning, the pair are then sent out with a more experienced Seeker to hunt down the harpies, discovering a bit more about harpies and traveling in the mountains than Sylina ever wished to, while she and Harry flirt, much to the shock and horror of their older teacher. Deciding to follow up on some of that information, the pair agree to go on over the protests of their elder.

King of Champions – HP/RWBY crossover: Harry and the others learn firsthand why they were catapulted into a forest for their initiation. After landing in Mountain Glenn, the group under Arturia spreads out, scouting then dispatching Grimm at need while everyone sees signs of the previous occupants. Once a basecamp is established more exploration occurs, with several revelations occurring one after another. The Grimm become aware of their presence, and a siege begins. This siege does not going according to the script, revealing the existence of an S-class Grimm. A hunt commences as the line is held, but only with difficulty. Eventually however the time has passed, and the Hunters retreat. Back in Vale, downtime is had of all sorts, but just as Blake comes through for Harry, an argument threatens to split RWBY apart, only for said argument to be stomped on in a somewhat hilarious manner before Harry is called in to speak with the Wonderful Wizard.

As stated above, I will be voting for Heroes of the High Seas. Hopefully that means it can be updated either in December or when it gets the carry on effect at some point before its…deadline.

And remember for several of my new patrons (there’s been a kind of turnaround effect this month, several people leaving, several new patrons coming in) for every dollar you donate, you get 4 votes in each poll. Not in total, but in EACH poll unless the poll is a Numbers Only poll like the December Format Poll was.  Unless specified, all polls are weighted.

This poll will end on the 1st of December. At that point I will post both of the other December polls. This way I can start instantly on the winner of this poll. I also allowed multiple choice this time. I haven’t done that in more than a year, and I am curious to see what impact that will have. Call it an experiment, guys.

you are so cruel. heroes of the high seas is my second favorite story i would vote for, but unfortunately deaths avenger is my first favorite. i'm forced to not vote for my favorite becuase i want HotHS to win so that it stays in rotation. (even though i know DA will win)

you, sir, almost seem like you are a liar, you say you want heroes of the high seas and then you put it in a poll next to KING OF CHAMPIONS and DEATH'S AVENGERS of all things: both highly popular stories with harry potter, though usually, its one or the other, and not both. i really hope Heroes of the high seas manage to eke out a win despite all this, i dont want that story to be shelved.

That’s just how the rotation goes. I can’t play favorites even if a part of me would really like to. That’s why I said heroes had until march to win. As to what poll to put it in, patron only is the inly9be 5em makes sense given how I’ve split the polls into fandoms rather than chapter sizes
