What HP story should be updated by Thanksgiving? (Patreon)

Alright everybody! Justlovereadin’ has gotten back to me, and will be able to go through the last segments of the chapter he hasn’t seen by tonight, so Making Waves tonight is a GO!!!

I want to take the time to remind everyone that the Ranma poll will end on the 4th!!! I will be missing something like six days or so in terms of time to spend on my fics (Thanksgiving, family stuff next weekend) so I seriously need to get a jump on the first fic as fast as possible.

Over the next few days, I will be working on the outlines for this month, deciding on the December polls to post, and organizing my Patron page better. Along with my own Word Drive LOL.  But if you want to message me, be aware I am always willing to talk via messages here on Patron. I can’t say I like how they changed the notifications page – took away a lot of the information on it for some reason, like… why? – but at least I do see notifications most of the time when someone leaves me a message. I also respond pretty well to people leaving specific messages on story threads.

I’ve also noticed a few people have signed up this month for the first time. Remember, you have to let me know you are joining to vote for Heroes of the High Seas if you want it to be in the Patron Only Poll. I will wait until the 11th to post that poll, so you still have time, but NO ONE has done so yet.

Anyway, here are the poll choices.

Fate Touched in Middle Earth – HP/Tolkien crossover: Harry and Tauriel get to know Gimli and his troop, becoming surprised that such a young dwarf is indeed the leader of the group, telling Gimli where they have been and learning about what has been going on in Erebor. Gimli quickly proves to be similar to Fili and Kili in a way, becoming fast friends with both lovers, and the two of them join the patrol for a time, dealing with one more goblin den, finding a thing of horror within. Arriving in Erebor several days later, Harry and Thorin renew their acquaintance in a way that is ‘most dwarfish’, before Harry and Tauriel spend time in Erebor. Harry starts to learn from and teach the Dwarven Rune Masters, with revelations on both sides while Tauriel and Dis discuss food, farming and insults, discussions which both king and wizard join in enthusiastically. Politics and personal compatibility are both discussed as Dis searches for a wife for each of her male residents, to the horror of her sons an d chagrin of a certain antisocial group of dwarves. Work on their house has continued, and Harry and Tauriel move in, only to be astonished at the first group of visitors they get, letting Harry meet his in-laws. After several months of dancing on eggshells, however, news comes from the northwest, and Thorin decides it is time for Erebor to reach out and axe someone. Harry and Tauriel, now bedecked in new armor, join the expedition, intending to head further north, while elsewhere, evil bides its time in various forms.

Bhaalson Remodel – HP/Gamer/Baldur’s Gate crossover:  While Harry and his band cheerfully go about murdering every band of hobgoblins they can find, Edwin makes a new friend, proving that opposites sometimes do attract. Viconia and Imoen continue to do drudge work, before having a minor confrontation wherein Viconia shows her inner drowishness much to Imoen’s chagrin and dark humor. The grinding continues with their new friend, the party meeting up and splitting into new teams as days turn into weeks, and they find new ways to use Harry’s AAS system to grow in strength. It’s all smooth sailing (and some flirting) until the party is forced to face the fact that while they might have taken a step back from solving the Iron Intake Issue, that doesn’t mean their enemies have forgotten them. Yet even with that interruption, Harry still has time to sit down and decide between his two final choices, and, after learning still more about why he was here and what Twice Fated meant, he is given a Major Quest to the southeast as his Paladin Quest.

FILFy Teacher – Highschool DxD/HP crossover: Reconstruction efforts in Egypt hit a few snags, but in the main, with the Alexandrians and their military allies leading the way, peace is maintained throughout the ravaged country. The wizards attempt to regain control, only for this to go wrong right off the bat when they meet the trigger happy Mittelt and Akeno, who decide to introduce them to her idea of fun. Rias tries to play peace maker with scant success while in Danan, Harry and Asia wake at last. The two of them and Yasaka make their way to Egypt, where Harry greets people, comes face to face with his most recent power up, and Asia prays, with some unintended consequences. With a plan in mind, Harry forces everyone in a position of power to sit down and listen. Many like what he says, while others do not, but they cannot change things. Harry calls in a favor, and then is made to owe one in turn for aid given as some of the pressure on Earth is relieved. Agreements are made, a night on the town is had, and things in Egypt begin to slowly return to normal as Harry and Cu Cuchulainn plan a hunt and a certain Nokoshu answers some hard questions

Remember guys and girls, each dollar you donate gives you four votes in each poll. And since Magic was updated in October, it isn’t on this poll, but will return in December.    Also be aware, FILFy might be huge (45,000 words and above) and would probably force me to cut down the Patron poll winner to episode length (around 10,000 words).

Hmm... I think... I think i will vote for... huh... you know what, i don't know.  I would love to write up the next chapter of Bhaalson, it will be a fun chapter. But I know that FILFy is a fan favorite, and the closest to finishing. Hmm... I will... I will wait to say who I will vote for until after I'm done work on Stallion and have sent it off to my editor.  By then I will have a idea of how much time i will have free the rest of the month.
