This chapter has been seen by both Tomon and Hiryo and Grammarlied by me right to the end of the indented paragraphs.  That is all...

Another great chapter. Garp’s musings reminded me of a little theory I’ve had for a while. The Heavenly Dragons are just so hate-able I think it’s on purpose. Emu has propped them up and spoiled them so rotten as a way to focus all the world’s attention on one group. It’s the same tactic that has been used elsewhere in the story many times.

I had a little chuckle to myself when the newest chapter came out as I was in the process of rereading the series and was just starting Chapter 36 when everything was updated. So either I had great timing or actually I just forgot which stories were being released and was very lucky but Stallion of the Line is such a good series that I frequently go back and reread it whenever I am bored and there is nothing major happening in my life. Right off the bat the biggest thing about this chapter that I was ecstatic to read was the scene with the gossiping guards and the other inmates on Level 6. As finally Garp and Ace have realized that Luffy is not dead. I completely understand that when Garp first heard it from Tsuru and Sengoku people that has trusted and worked with for decades, and as far as I know never lied to him, told him this then of course he is going to lose it. The one person of his direct bloodline that was a spitting image of him is dead and at the command of those he worked with would easily make him lose his mind and retaliate. Though on the subject of Garp considering some of the recent updates in the manga will earlier chapters be amended to show that Garp possesses Haoshoku Haki? Or is it going to be one of those things that he has not used it in so long that some have forgotten that he has the ability to do so? I can even understand why Ace believed it to such an extent as he was told this by Garp who was thrown into Level 6 due to his actions at the news. But with the number of times that they have spared and they both now how strong and stubborn Luffy is I am surprised that neither one of them held onto hope that he was alive. That so long as they did not see his dead body then there was always the possibility that he was still alive. Another interesting point is how so many things are going to change with this chapter, beyond the fact that Garp is in Impel Down and that Whitebeard might already know this, as there is no way that people are not going to realize that Boa lied but also that with Whitebeard not attacking Marineford on the day of the execution and it is instead going to be a sea battle everything that was planned and setup has been derailed. It will become a fight on the waters where neither side has the advantage. Then you add in that Whitebeard has been recruiting others to help in his attack (if the person who you had Whitebeard fight is in fact Shiki I am going to love the coming fight) which are variables that even Tsuru was not able to account for. Though it also makes me wonder if this version of Whitebeard would be willing to reach out to Shanks for help in the coming operation. Not to attack and sack Marineford but get in free Ace without letting the majority of the undesirables to escape before heading back to their territories with Shanks getting a favor from Whitebeard and his crew. Then we get to see the return on Bon Clay, I knew that he was here from the manga, but I was wondering if we would see him in the jail. Which to me means that there is the possibility that Ivankov could make an appearance either helping Zoro or just in pure happenstance of meeting Luffy especially as he would know who he is after having seen him as a baby (and if he has forgotten a bit of water will jog his memories). But them meeting Buggy is also something that I think is going to be great. Since Buggy might be one of the people in the jail that can use Haki his help could be a major boon and would be away to secure an alliance with him or get him to stop chasing Ranko. I really want to see Bon Clay and Buggy share cups of sake with Luffy and join his banner as a part of his growing fleet. This would provide Buggy the protection that he wants and a way to potentially stay under the radar but also that if he gets in over his head, he will have someone like Luffy to fall back on. Plus, it may give a way to bring in an Ussop that would be different and have him meet Yassop without hostilities. I wonder if any of the Amazon’s are going to attack Boa believing she has the Love Sickness or if she has all of the younger generation underneath her thrall that it will only be the elders that have a problem with her decision. I am hoping that once it is revealed that Luffy is in possession of the Goro-Goro no Mi and his elevation to Yonko after what he is about to do they will back off and understand just how powerful he is and the protection that he will bring to their island. Though it does make me wonder, if Franky can create enough ships, could the entirety of Amazon Lily flee their island and move to somewhere else (potentially in the New World) to escape retribution by the World Government and be in position to be better protected by Luffy and even Whitebeard after their help in freeing Ace. Out of all the crew I have to say that the two that I am most worried about when it comes to them surviving what is about to happen is Makino and Brook. Against the majority of the marines, I can see them beating and surviving but at the moment anyone above Vice-Admiral or has a Logia will stop them. Especially since they have to find some way to get Zoro’s swords from Gion and baring all of them at least Wado. But in the chaos of battle and being unassuming they might be able to escape the notice and ire of any of the major players but they will definitely be getting bounties after this. The other very big change that I can see coming is what will happen after this. The crew is definitely going to have to go into hiding for a bit so as to not be chased by the World Government and to give them all a chance to rest and recover and get in some training. But I cannot see the world not finding out the truth of what happened and how the rest of the Supernova generation will react to the audacity of Luffy and company and how they will outstrip them in so many regards. But also, what this will mean when it comes to the future of the series. This is the crux, shatter point, whatever you want to call it and after this canon will take a nose dive off a very steep cliff. The other major arcs were great and showed off the changes in the world due to Raffy in a wonderful and believable way. But after this every major player in the world will have their eyes on Luffy and crew as he makes his way to becoming the Pirate King.

You make some interesting points. I'm honestly hoping Franky will be taking this time apart from the crew to start building a fleet of ships or even get it into his head to try and revamp Amazon Lily a la Thriller Bark. After all the WG can't attack Amazon Lily if they don't know where it went lol.
