August Small Story Poll (Patreon)

Now here is the the August Small story poll. Horse for the Force will be getting both the carry-over votes and my votes. I want to give my Ranma fans some full meals this coming month guys!

Fate Touched in Middle Earth- HP/Tolkien crossover: Harry and young Estel become the latest in a long line of people to learn that no, a straight line does not mean a faster journey, first running into trouble with a river, then trees then uppity trees in that fashion. Harry attempts to deal with this as any wizard would deal with an angry wooden opponent, Estel persuades him to not becoming a human deforestry project, whereupon they meet a certain singer, and the River Daughter. No one’s fool, Harry questions both their current forms, which results in much amusement (for him and them, not so much Estel), and Harry is given some help with his nightmares. Which promptly fails as he and Estel find themselves coming out of the woods into the Barrows. There, Harry and Estel find themselves pressed by the dead, who seem to have it out for Estel. The pair get through it, with Estel being given a few new toys. This does not save Harry from his mother’s wrath, but much like any storm it is soon over, and Harry is once more on his way, leaving Estel behind to her tender mercies. A journey through the mountains passes with another tiny bit of excitement, but Harry finally arrives within the boughs of Mirkwood, finding his lady waiting under the moonlight.

Horse for the Force– Ranma/Star Wars crossover: With urgency (and annoyance) guiding their steps, Shaak and Ranma hastily put together a plan to head to Coruscant, sans the Wild Blade, since living pocket battleship/carrier does not equal stealthy. The rest of their crew goes with them, and while Shaak is doing some counseling, Thrawn is informed of this latest bit of information before telling Yoda and several Jedi that they are idiots but that they can use this information on the strategic level. Anakin, chief idiot, arrives on Coruscant, where he runs into an old flame. After much amusement, Padme tries to calm him down, which succeeds vaguely. Ranma and company arrive, with Shaak and the Mandos heading down-spire into the depths of Coruscant. There they are confronted by lots of various dangers before coming to the danger they are here to face. Meanwhile, Anakin is saved by Ranma followed by Ranma… Ranmaing as hard as possible in front of Darth Sidious. This, needless to say, does not go well for anyone. A firefight ensues as the Nova Guard square off against Sidious’s pawns outside, many revelations come to light, as the future hangs in the balance.

Magic of the Force- HP/SW crossover: War dominates discussions in the halls of power for better or worse on all three sides of the war, while the news of Ord Cestus, though small, puts heart into people and allows the Senate to issue a series of ultimatums to the High Command. A member of Clan Saa and her Master get a new assignment as Aayla proves she remembers all her Master’s teaching about being sneaky. Ahsoka, meanwhile, shows Potter Luck has nothing to do with blood, and strategic visions are discussed, with the Dooku Training Center turned to a new purpose. Several campaigns begin, and perfectly made plans on paper quickly run into this thing called reality. Nonetheless, the war grinds on, while in the shadows of chaos, Kas and Mak come closer to finding what they seek. An assassination occurs, while fleets clash, and Padme tries to sway the hearts and minds of the senate. Harry and Aayla find themselves embroiled in a political argument while Valahari comes under attack, and the Tyrant’s Bane fights sneaky.
