You know, I woke up today, and it was May, and I just, I just breathed a vast sigh of relief. April is now behind us. I’m so happy I want to break out into SOOONNggggg!

Instead, I will post the small story poll. Both because it’s time, and because I can’t hold a tune.

Remember, ATP is being updated every month now, so no large story poll. Although honestly, this past month it was more three medium stories than one large, two small. This thing called ‘limiting myself’ still does not come naturally to me.

Anyway, the choices this month are:

Fate Touched in Middle Earth- HP/Tolkien crossover: Harry and Bilbo continue their journey, meeting with Beorn and his new wife, along with the men who have decided to follow him, and the dwarves sent with him to help guard the pass. Astonishingly trouble doesn’t find them as they pass through the mountains, and the two arrive at the edge of Rivendell without incident. A few humorous incidents happen in Rivendell itself as Harry meets an eleven-year old boy and intense feelings of envy and déjà vu fill his being. News reaches Bilbo’s ear, and he shows a certain strength of purpose to push on quickly, lest he lose Bag End to a auction of all things. After a kidnapping, another incident happens on the way to Bree, but eventually the group arrives just in time to stop Bag End from being sold. A final meal is had, an elf shows up, and Harry and Bilbo bid one another farewell before the human turns his feet towards Mirkwood once more on a straight line. Because, why not?…

Stallion of the Line – Ranma/One Piece crossover: A mermaid discovers herself among a very odd gathering, and only slightly more welcome than the meat of the Sea King who tried to eat her. Once stomachs have been filled (and some pumped) the name of a certain octopus fishman is dropped to much amusement and disgruntlement. The edible qualities of Flying Fish is discussed, and the impact of Boa Hancock’s beauty is felt once more, followed by Sanji facing his Bizarro self. Wood is found in enough quantity to build a real ship for the Moria Survivor’s Alliance, and farewells are given, while oaths are taken and Whitebeard fields a call causing his nurses to worry for his blood pressure.  The ship arrives at Shabondy Archipelago, and after a single night of having access to his bed again, Luffy and the others are introduced to a living legend. An awkward conversation the second night in the Archipelago is interrupted when Hancock answers a call. Sanji gets to kick someone really deserving of it, Zoro meets a few Supernovae, Ranko punches a few more, and shit hits the fan...just… as… planned…

Magic of the Force - HP/SW crossover: War dominates discussions in the halls of power for better or worse on all three sides of the war, while the news of Ord Cestus, though small, puts heart into people and allows the Senate to issue a series of ultimatums to the High Command. A member of Clan Saa and her Master get a new assignment as Aayla proves she remembers all her Master’s teaching about being sneaky. Ahsoka, meanwhile, shows Potter Luck has nothing to do with blood, and strategic visions are discussed, with the Dooku Training Center turned to a new purpose. Several campaigns begin, and perfectly made plans on paper quickly run into this thing called reality. Nonetheless, the war grinds on, while in the shadows of chaos, Kas and Mak come closer to finding what they seek. An assassination occurs, while fleets clash, and Padme tries to sway the hearts and minds of the senate. Harry and Aayla find themselves embroiled in a political argument while Valahari comes under attack, and the Tyrant’s Bane fights sneaky.

Once More, remember that with Horse’s victory it is removed from the poll. And I am still not willing to try and put out a FILFy chapter while working on ATP. That way lies madness. And mistakes. Just like the naming mistakes in Horse… thank you all who pointed them out, hopefully I caught most of them.

This poll will go to the 16th. I’m honestly not certain which story will be my first priority going forward. We will see.

I would be happy to see either the adventures of Harry in Middle-Earth or in a galaxy far far away updated. :)
