A Close Run Thing - October Patron Poll Results (Patreon)

Hey all. Today is the day that the seemingly tight patron only poll has been closed!!

I want to thank you all for taking part in this poll. This kind of tight, hard to call poll is precisely what I want to see. I would also like to welcome everyone who has signed up this past month. I hope you enjoy the cake, it is not a lie.

And as always, before we get to the poll, a sitrep. Normally at this time of the month I wouldn’t have much to report. However, this time I have been going back and forth with Tomon on the Episode Style Death’s Avenger update for last month. He convinced me to almost entirely rewrite a significant portion of it, during which I added some 4000 more words. So it’s now small story sized instead of Episode sized. He has it once more, and when he gets it back to me, I will go through it once more with Grammarly before posting it. Still, I think you all (those of you who care for HP at all anyway LOL)  should really enjoy it, regardless.

And now on to the poll itself:

In third place is Making Waves, for once. It only brought in 1,654 votes. A very respectable showing but not enough this time.

In second place is… Bhaalson Remodel. Showing the strongest turnout it’s ever had, it brought in 1,771 votes. WOO.

And in first place, and the reason behind the above ‘woo’ is Sword, Bow and Horse. It won with a 1,780 votes.

Admittedly, folks, this is because I voted for it, putting down a hundred of my own votes on it. My reasoning for this is mostly the same as when I posted this thread and told you all I would be voting this way: this next chapter will let me bring an end to the Brune Arc, which is a perfect place to put this story on hold until after Making Waves is finished. Added to this, it has occurred to me that with this fic removed from the rotation, it will leave me with 1 Ranma fic, 1 HP fic, and one choice that is, ostensibly, split between the two fandoms. I can’t make it any fairer than that, folks. Beyond voting for Bhaalson Remodel for the next few months, anyway.

Now if you all will excuse me, I need to hide from my BR muse which has morphed into a very angry Viconia holding a whip.
