Happy Saturday everyone LOL. And on top of it being a Saturday, it is time to end the small story poll as well as the current Addventure Homage Poll.   I am not goign to do both here though, for obvious reasons.

For those of you who need a reminder, unless I say otherwise, polls on this site come in two parts: first, you all vote. Then I go through and weigh the votes by multiplying your donations by 4 (four). That means for every dollar you donate, you get four votes to use in EACH poll per month. You cannot double down, but the only way to not have those votes to use in each poll is to not vote in the first place. Because of this, the poll you all see in the poll thread can be misleading.

On the other hand, it can sometimes right on the mark, LOL, just with much higher numbers all around.

So, without further ado, here is the results of the Small Story Poll.  The Homage Poll’s results will be mentioned elsewhere and later today.

In third place, to my eternal chagrin, and some annoyance considering it’s been sooo long since it was updated, is Semblance of Hope with 1,029 votes, with 51 votes coming from fanfiction.net. A decent showing, but not enough alas. And I didn’t vote for it either, considering I am poised to throw my weight behind Magic of the Force later this month.

Beyond that… this came down to the wire folks. And I mean that. I have rarely seen a vote that had me literally unable to guess which would win up to the final numbers were added in.  I think part of this is because for once my beta readers were almost evenly split between the two stories, and because Semblance muddied the waters, making it an uneven split between the two fandoms.

In second place, is… Gods and Devils and Wild Horses, Oh My! It brought in 1,967 votes, with 119 votes coming from fanfic.

And in the lead, with 115 votes from fanfic, and 2,003 votes was Fate Touched in Middle Earth!

When I said September was going to be HP heavy, I didn’t expect this… Kind of makes me happy my Stallion of the Line story took so long to post frankly. And also makes me guilty that I can only try to get to GDWHOM.  I can only do my best, and hope Stallion and the Addventure Homage threads will help feed my Ranma fans this month.

I underestimated the amount of time it would take me to finish Bhaalson Remodel, but I should have it done by Monday at the latest and off to the editor. Khalid. The number of different fonts I use. Khalid.  Getting everyone to act in character (for some reason, I am having trouble making Dynahier herself rather than Jaheira-lite? odd). Khalid. Argh.

Regardless, with the scenes I had finished but didn’t put in the last chapter of Fate, I should be able to get it out for editing on the 17th I think?

And remember if you haven’t already votes, the Large Story Poll will end on the 18th.

Ta for now folks. I will speak to you again later today.
