May2020 Small Story Poll Response (Patreon)
Content
It is the sixteenth, and that means it is time to close the small story poll.
First an update, as usual: FILFy has been off with Nad Destroyer for a week, so I should see it back to me soon. Making Waves is about two-thirds done, and should be sent off to its first editor Monday night. Late.
Now, the results of this poll are:
In last place Semblance of Hope, with 1,130. Only 54 votes from fanfic. This is, alas, normal. But remember folks regardless of how it does in the polls it and AGGC will be updated at the end of every large story rotation – four months in other words, with this being month one.
In second place by a very respectable margin, is Fate Touched in Middle Earth at 2,056. It was helped by fanfic, posting first over there among the three, with 146.
This of course means that Stallion of the Line won. Won overwhelmingly, with a score of 122 over on fanfic and a total of 2,638.
Despite my ongoing sadness at how poorly Semblance does over on fanfic I’m quite happy with this outcome since it will allow me to put the period on the end of the Skypiea arc, and is also going to be a little faster for me to finish than either of the other two would be since I have two scenes already written for it.
Next month I will put my votes behind Fate Touched, as it has not been updated since February. It and GDHWOM actually but I will put my votes to that story in July, if I can make the scene with Rias’s family less like something from a robot.
