April Poll Results (Patreon)

Okay, so the polls this month have gone on for three days longer than I wanted, but I am now officially shutting them down. 

I also want to thank everyone for their participation in the questions section. I realize I didn’t respond to anyone specifically, but trying to put a war into ATP has taken a lot of thought and time and I’ve just been running into issues with it from start to finish.

Anyway, the responses to the Patreon questions have convinced me that A, whatever problems most people have with Patreon when they site it in their exit surveys is nothing to do with my use of this site. The only issue was some people have trouble reading the chapters posted here on patreon on their phones. I will try to do something about that by repeatedly updating the ‘Patreon Work So Far’ thread. That way you can access the Doc version without needing to load the full chapter page.

I’ve also decided to, once Anything Goes Game Changer is done, to start having a separate vote for the second Patreon only chapter. I won’t say that will become a permanent fixture however. We’ll have to see.

SW questions: 

1. Teras Sinube was indeed the Jedi Master I was thinking of! Thank you everyone who mentioned him. I also liked the suggestion of using the Cin Dralling that Novus mentioned. It makes a lot of sense. A Sentinel and a Guardian. 

2. Anakin is going to be shown, if only slightly in Horse, and in Magic quite a bit more. 

3. I Also have to thank everyone who showed me that particular wiki page that showed the Confed admirals. Now… how to kill all of them… hmm…

FILFY: 

1. Everyone seemed to like Le Fay, which is amusing since I thought maybe people felt we were hopscotching over the line of having too many little girls. Sti’ll I am pleased everyone likes the Pendragon siblings since I do too. I even have plans for them.

2. On the portrayal of Ophis: the poll seemed to be that she isn’t really evil, just inhuman, unable to relate and a bit of a child when it comes to interacting with others. So I will continue to portray her as such, rather than evil. Cao Cao on the other hand, he’s very much an end justifying the means kind of evil asshole. 

3. As for the next girl to get a larger piece of Harry, now that would be telling. But it won’t be Akeno. They will get back together, but not for several chapters/in-fic months.

ATP:

This one surprised me a lot because I was almost certain everyone would be jumping onto the old ‘make him a full on Evil bastard’ train, since that is how I remember Apocalypse. But most people seemed to think he hated aliens more than he wanted to start a war of survival of the fittest. That’s an interesting take, and it should be interesting how it goes.

MW

1. Anna will stay with her dragon mate. What else happens is up in the air, though I won’t be bringing the whole Edolas Fairy Tail guild across, that would just be bizarre. Her siblings are a distinct possibility.

2. I will allow the Wizard Saints to shine. I will even give them enough screen time to, in Tigerjacob’s words, bring them to life. After all, it would be very odd if only Ranma and co. could deal with the serious enemies out there, right?

3. Gray and Natsu will be shown in bits and pieces, but not enough to take away from the concentration on Ranma and those with him.

Now on to the poll results:

I will take this moment to also remind everyone that this month my priorities went ATP/Making Waves first, then large story, then small story if I can. So if I cannot get to the small story, I will apologize, but there is only one of me over here and I have yet to figure out how to clone myself.

So the winner of the Large Story poll was…

Horse for the Force!!! Despite only bringing in 82 brought in 1,494 total votes. Magic of the Force brought in 285 votes over on fanfic, and a total of 1488.

As you can see this was once more insanely close! I want to thank everyone who took part, keep it up guys. And before anyone asks, no I did not take part in this poll, I felt since last month was such a big Potter month I shouldn’t take part one way or another and let the votes fall where they may.

And now on to the small story poll:

As has become the norm, FILFy won with a total of 1,481, with 394 coming from Fanfic.

Anything Goes Game Changer came in second, with 1,274, despite bringing in only 116 over on Fanfic. This was my choice, since it is within three chapters or so of completion.

Stallion of the Line was third, and I want to thank everyone who has shown interest in that fic – it is one of my personal mad cackle/genuine laughter kind of fics. It scored decently over on fanfic with 181, and a total of 777… oooh boy is that weird. Not as bad as the number of the beast, but still weird LOL.

Gods and devils and Wild Horses, Oh My took fourth place. With 155 from fanfic it scored a total of 594 

And… as has become all too regular, Stallion of Hope scored last, bringing in 362 votes in total, and only 88 votes on fanfic. It scored better than Horse over there, but that’s about all I can say about it. Ugh.

But again, I have to remind you all that the small story is the lowest priority going forward. I honestly can’t see me getting to FILFy this month. I refuse to do a cliffhanger LOL, and I think it should be sitting at around 36,000 words, maybe more. We’ll have to see. And no, I won’t carry it over into May as I did last month, that threw off my schedule something fierce.
