Hello all. Tis the 9th of April and I am about a fourth of the way through ATP, but more importantly (at least in conjunction with this post), Making Waves is also finished and off to my first MW beta reader. As such, I thought this an appropriate time to pose a few questions once more. Only one or two of these are really important questions, they are mostly opinion questions or requests for help in slotting correct character A into plot concept B, with a smattering of questions about minor plot points.  But I would appreciate your opinions on them regardless.

First I suppose should be the two questions I have about Patreon.:

1. I have been reading the little exit survey lines for several months now, and while I can’t do anything about the two most major reasons (never intended to stay, financial situation changed) people give for leaving, one caught my eye: I am unsatisfied with the patreon services. So I am asking if any of you can think of ways that I could be using this page better than I am.

2. Secondly, I was wondering if people would like to see me go back to the two stories on fanfic two stories on here format? Specifically with MW and Bhaalson Remodel or perhaps my Sword, Bow and Horse. I have to admit I would really like to play around with Tonks and Harry getting to know one another, and then heading out into the world of BW, and I would rather like to show Ranma the-no-longer-a-virgin LOL.  And MW, well we’re about to get into some of the more interesting stuff, with the whole Edolas arc coming up while my world building continues in the background. Or, would people like to keep the current format of only one patreon work a month, but put it up for a separate vote? That is, a vote only for the patreon only work every month. {note, I would reserve the right to end such during multi-chapter arcs, regardless of the story in question – cliffhangers are evil and should not be left to hang for too long}

Now on to specific questions.

SW questions:

1. I am looking for two Male Jedi masters to add to the younglings when they are shipped into the Ruusan temple to offset Fay and Lily – yes the Jedi would see it like that. I would like one human, one nonhuman. I have an idea for one of them, the short looking, very elderly alien master who was an expert on the criminal underworld, but I can’t remember his name.

2. Given his importance to canon, despite how I’ve utterly sidelined him in this fic, do I need to show what Anakin’s been up to, and how he’s grown in the next chapter of Horse?

3. This is for both fics really. I would like to know the name of some Clone Wars era Confederate admirals, I know only two beyond Grevious. These would be throw away disposable characters just so you know LOL. Competence is not a necessary talent here LOL.

FILFY questions (questions for GDHWOM will start to matter after the next chapter):

1. I’d like everyone’s opinions on Le Fay and Arthur as characters. I have plans for them long term, I am just wondering what people think about them, and if they enjoy them as I’ve portrayed them. And were any of their other family members ever introduced in canon?

2. Ophis. Is she an evil dragon woman who simply believes her ends justify all means making her a villain, or a spoiled little girl who needs to learn other people matter? I personally can’t really make up my mind.

3. After Yasaka who, among the ladies already showing interest, should be the next to jump on the Staff of Potter? At this point, it is just a matter of deciding which would be the next, and if that would cause the remaining any angst, a question I’m struggling with.

ATP: easily the most important of the questions here in terms of plot this is a really long term question, as in three chapters down the line. But it’s one that came to me recently:

1. Apocalypse. Is he obsessed enough about proving mutants are stronger than humanity that he would ignore the threats from space and the fact humanity is slowing drawing together against them? Or… should I do something that no one else has ever done, and bring him in as more of an anti-hero, like Doom and have him see this new threat as the real war of survival of the fittest?

Making Waves questions:

1. What should happen to Anna (Edolas Lisanna) during the Edolas arc? Should break up with Natsu and go back to her siblings and guild, or stay with Natsu and break their hearts? Or should all three just never get the chance to join the arc at all so she’s never tempted?

2. This is for fans of the canon: The Wizard Saints. Are they really the chumps I remember from watching Hyperion or whatever his name was school them, or should I show them as being strong before that moment?

3. Are Natsu and Gray interesting enough characters that I need to show their growth in the future after Ranma returns from his latest trip?

So yeah, simple questions this time around, nothing major to really argue for or against. But again, I would just like everyone’s opinions and help to figure out these questions.

Better late than never... :) Patreon 1) Honestly I'm not sure how much you can actually affect their leaving and I personlly dislike hiding stories or content behind a Patreon. Your style so far, to publish something here, which will appear on fanfiction much later seems better and working okay. You also discuss with your readers a lot, heh maybe for some even too much as some question can actually spoil the story a little. So my only real advice would be to add a spoiler tag when needed :-D The other possibility is to have some progress bar or word count but it seems like it would just waste your time and with your update speed it's not really needed. Also not sure how well it could be implemented at Patreon webpage. 2) This is really up to you, but current format seems okay to me. But Patreon only poll would probably work okay as well. And definitely agreed on cliffhangers point! SW 1) / 2) If he is no longer relevant he does need to be shown, that being said while not a main character his position and potential is still quite big, so it's probably good idea to give at least a small update or hint on how things progress. 3) / Filfy 1) Arthur god something bigger than the famous sword stick in his butt and I wonder/fear what he truly feels for his sister. Le Fay is much more interesting, especially with Harry coming from pretty much Merlin workshiping society :-D And with what was already shown I definitely want to see more of her. She is very curious combination of power, intelligence but still a young naivety. But well, I stated my opinion on her further involvement in the last chapter itself. 2) Ophis is definitely not the usual evil. She is extremely self-centric and just doesn't aknowledge, well, pretty much anyone. They're not on her level and thus do not matter... That doesn't make her 'good' by any means and shouldn't be treated well just because she is different in her views. At least that's my take on her character. I think she needs a reality check that would somehow enable her to actually learn some empathy. Probably being humiliated by someone she deems inferior. After all so far she only 'lost' once and that was against her kind and she still thinks she is fully capable of getting her revenge. But while easily very antagonist, I think she is one of the few character that could be actually saved :) 3) Heh, would be fun if it somehow happened with Akeno, with all that rolling on the floor when Harry was tickling her :-D Would probably left even Kala with her mouth hanging open :-D But I think that next in line is the newest addition in Yubelluna. While Kala is now in a good position and very friendly and Harry is aware that she is extemely attractive, their current relationship and interaction is more along the line of friendly banter than outright flirting. There needs to be some new spark and at the moment Harry is quite content and Kala still little afraid of destroying what she managed to get back. Yubelluna got much better opening. But well, when that happens I think Kala will follow very shortly after, because this would be the exact incentive she needs to start acting more 'aggressively' and restart her pursuit :) And well, this time Harry might not have any reason to resist ;) ATP 1) That's a VERY hard question. I think he definitely wouldn't ignore otherwordly threats to Earth. But would he be okay with the defense and Earth itself not being in his hand? The question comes probably back to if he is willingly to aknowledge that someone else could actually be more powerful than him and thus fighting and weakening such opponent and his own side is not a good idea in face of the threat Earth is facing. Sadly... I don't think he could actually work with someone on equal standing... But well, he MAY surprise me and I'm far from knowing him really well to say "it could never work" :-) Making Waves 1) I don't think Anna would leave at the moment. There is just too much going on. On the other hand telling her siblings that she was unable to come back sooner, but she find a new life for herself, may not be easy but it's also part of the life and is definitely doable... But not meeting them or at least not trying to get them a message that she is both alive and happy is a very coward way. That should happen ONLY if she is not transported to Edolas and have no way of getting there or contacting anyone. And well, if the Edolas sibling really want to be with her they could always travel to the other world? Two sets of Strauss would be fun :-D 2) I think they're extremely strong. Just Makarov feats alone are quite enough of a proof, and he is not in the top. That being said there are mages who just don't care and are not in the ranking. Good example would be Gildarts :-D 3) Well, if the trip takes just few weeks than I'm not sure how far they can truly progress. But you should definitely show them when enough time passes.

FILFY 2. I'm consistently in favor of more complicated and less black-and-white characters. An off-the-wall idea I think interesting: Ophis is the oldest known character in DxD. She is older than Great Red, and he is made of Dreams, and so probably around as old as sentient life in large numbers. Representing Infinity, Ophis is probably very very immortal. I'd suggest her disregard of others (save Great Red) is in a large part because of they-are-mayflies syndrome. For extra interestingness, she doesn't want to care about other people because they are so short-lived, and even 'immortals' like the Christian God wound up living (perhaps) less than a thousandth of her age. Her personality could even be deliberate--remaining childish and self-centered (through manipulation of her own mind/personality, an application of her shapeshifting (which is weakly implied to have some personality-affecting capability in canon, from the gender and age shifting?)) to avoid feeling loneliness or loss, perhaps after negative past experiences. I mean, as her age is uncapped, you could invent friends she had after she left the Gap, long long before the human race existed. Dinosaur-based fae or something, whose death with the Triassic ecosystem crash prompted her to return to the Gap.
