hello all.  I have figured out why patreon wasn’t working on my phone! So while typing is still irritating I can now at leas access my patreon page without using my bro’s computer. This is a good thing lol.  I noticed that there were a few questions and such recently in some of the other threads and I will do my best to hunt those down now.

I can also say that I will be able to follow this thread as well.  For once again I have questions in some of my stories going forward.

First is actually not about my own stories at all but one of the free high school DxD fics crossed over with naruto that I’ve bothered to read.  I have no idea what the name was hence my problem -it was really funny and I thought it was well written but i can’t find it anymore. It had a joke in it about issei being killed by Raynare due to his browser history lol.  If anyone knows this fic’s Name, please tell me.

from There let’s go into my DxD crossover questions.

In GDWHOM:

1. Which villain in DxD would be most likely to set something up to create a zombie apocalypse?  I mentioned at one point that I might go that route, and since we’ll be dealing with Kokabeil soon it was on my mind.

2.  Should Rias still want to become head of her family in this doc free what her parents did to her?  Or should she want a clean break.

3.  Oddly enough, I am struggling with placing Rias with Ranma.  is That just me being silly, or is their attraction coming off as forced to anyone else?

4.  I really don’t want to get involved with politics in this fic so would everyone be okay with me just covering the confrontation with the Gremory parents, and not the aftermath from the devil side of things?

5.  Would Devine dividing not working on ki be too OP?

FIlFy:

1.  Once more I have to ask the question:  what should I do about Akeno and Kalawarner.? I am honestly really torn on this point.  I have given them both a lot of growth but only a little of that growth has gone into actually making them more compatible with Harry. He and Kala are starting over, and Akeno is still having trouble with Harry putting Lily first.  It remains to be seen if Harry will be able to deal her love of pain too.

2.  Ddraig. What did everyone think about how I dealt with him in the last chapter and what does everyone think I should do with him, leave him in Harry’s care, or try to redeem Issei? What is more interesting, a character who thinks his way through problems or overpowers them?

3.  Does Koneko need her own love interest. My gut feeling is no but I was asked.   I might have her get with Gasper for the lulz.

4.  Should I introduce Gasper in the next chapter, or do I already have too many characters?  For that matter, are people interested enough in Kiba and Mittelt for them to get more screen time?

Horse for the Force:

1.  I think that Set Harth has nearly run his course as a character.  The question is then, should any of the team he’s assembled survive his death?

2.  I would like to bring in the Sith artifact that has that ancient soul in it that can create rakguls or whatever they are called, but I don’t think I can introduce another group of mindless drone like enemies given the upcoming masses of droids.  So would that ancient Jedi and the with in the artifact be interesting enough as characters if I dont introduce that aspect?

3.  How much are people interested in the world building beyond the Ranma centric portions of this work?  Specifically the politics. Leading up to the declaration of war.  Part of me thinks I need to show that debate and Padme‘s involvement.  Part of me thinks it takes away from the action and is boring.

4.  What did everyone think of the inclusion of the Mandalorians and nova guard?  Feel free to comment on anything here.

And now for some broader questions.

I am thinking about splitting up the polls as I have the past few months, but in this case I would put the stories I think I could possibly finish in a separate poll.  This would be Anything Goes Game Changer and Semblance of Hope, plus possibly GDWhom, though I am uncertain there - it will depend on whether I want to make that fic into a full fixer fic or cut it short. Then I would update the winner of that poll alongside the single winner from the small story poll.  I could also stick any docs that haven’t been updated in a while here.

How does one go about soliciting someone to write a Reading: kind of fic?  Some of those are hilarious and i would like to see one of Semblance of Hope.

Horse for the Force 1)Maybe Durge, but other than him I just can't see Ranma or Shaak letting them live; Durge is maybe cause I'm not entirely sure they could kill him. 2) I don't know enough about the artifact in question so just do what you want lol. 3) Definitely show the lead up and how Ranma and the changes he has brought have shifted things. 4) It makes sense and is generally interesting in just about everyway I can think of.

Celeste Morne and the sixth lord she is trapping in herself basically was what I was talking about there. Couldn’t remember her name until someone else mentioned it. Durge, there are a lot of ways I could kill him permanently if I wanted to, so that won’t be an issue. Lol

Lets see. GDWHOM first. 1) Ophis. With Big Red firmly in the Dimensional Gap, she accepts that she can't return, and decides to make this plane like the home she wants, Change a few humans to zombies, with a limited lifespan. Once all the people are gone, the zombies die off, and she gets the silence she craves. 2) I've always thought that giving up the Gremory name was an option for her to get out of being sold as a sex slave to the Phenix family. Have her threaten it, and Sirzechs give Mummy & Daddy Dearest a choice: loose their daughter, and their son (him), and the Gremory name would die if they couldn't produce another heir, or step down, give Rias the name and title of Lady Gremory, and go into quiet seclusion out of the public eye, which would suck for them, but save the name. 3) It doesn't seem forced to me. You might consider using the removal of the spell to make some noticeable changes in the personalities of Rias and Akeno. After all, who is to say how much of an effect that mind control spell had on them. This way, the situations could be resolved by actions that would otherwise be considered OOC. The only part that, to me, seems forced is the slow pace its taking. Have Rias recognize the fact that Ranma has no concept of the games girls play, and have her lay it out for him: "I like you, I want to try a relationship with you, and I want to have sex with you." He'll trip out a bit, but if she's straddling his lap when she says it, he won't throw her on the floor, so can't run. And straight up and direct is the best way to deal with Ranma, anyway. 4) That;s fine by me, as the politics aren't my favorite side, either. But I would love to see it pointed out, either by Ranma, Sirzechs, or Serafall, that the only difference between the Gremory's forcing her into a political marraige with someone she hates, and them selling her to Riser as a sex slave, is the label one puts on the package. All the particulars are the same for both transactions: Forced to stay in the situation, forced to have sex with the one controlling her, forced to bear his children, and the ones who arranged the transaction profit from it. 5) I wouldn't say that it was too OP. OP is a matter of perception. There are plenty of characters in DxD that count as OP. Keeping the main character weak is really only a writing device that gives the hero somewhere to grow. Having Divine Dividing be designed to have a built in weakness KEEPS it from being too OP. FILFy: 1) I think Harry and Kala would have a chance, but Akeno would require some character development on Harry's part. Harry is a Alpha werewolf, and has the potential for being VERY dominant. But except for combat situations, he's not letting it out. It reminds me of how Remus wouldn't acknowledge his wolf. I think that Rias should notice that he's forcing himself to be overly solicitous when they sleep together, and encourage him to let it out, He does, and spends the entire weekend driving her into the mattress. (He has the sex drive and stamina of a god!) He comes out more dominant, she comes out exhausted, scratched, bit, chafed, sore, and thinking of the others not as competition, but as tag team partners. He can also realize that the best way to treat a girl, is not the way HE wants to treat her, but the way SHE wants to be treated. He still gets the emotional connection he needs, and the girls gets what they need. The fact that Harry is currently struggling with two girls is actually easy to deal with. While he has his own societal morals in play, he knows he is in a different society, with different customs. He has his god abilities pushing him to have multiple girls, he has a new toy (Boosted Gear) that could be pushing him (see item 2 below), and he has his main girl pushing him to accept it (perhaps Rias realizes that godly stamina means she'll need help). With all that, convincing him that he should follow his new godly instincts shouldn't be too very difficult. 2) I love what you did with DDraig. I think you should do both: leave Boosted Gear with Harry, and redeem Issei. I've always hated Issei as a character, and was very dissatisfied with the series because of him. BUT now you have an opportunity for a real change. Scenario: Ddraig is the real letch here, and has been subconsciously influencing Issei his whole life. Issei has had to develop a very strong will and mind to keep from becoming Ddraig's complete thrall, so with it gone, Issei's personality can change drastically. He can become more forceful, clearer headed, and more dominant in his own right. I personally would love to see Akeno completely enthralled by the new Issei, and become a sub (or switch) under him. I wouldn't see Issei in this case being a sub - he's been controlled for his whole life, and he knows it. ( I would LOVE to see this relationship happen, and when Akeno starts teasing and running her mouth, have Issei scruff her - Run his fingers through her hair at the back of her neck, then make a gentle fist. As a dominant myself, if the woman has sub tendencies, she'll react just like a cat does. Very dominant and possessive move, and would be a personality defining moment for both of them.) Harry, in the other hand, is a battle-hardened veteran and an Alpha werewolf. The battle of wills is much less one-sided, and Harry ends up controlling the dragon, not the other way around. And with this scenario, Harry would really understand Issei, and become even more of a direct mentor to him, possibly training him in combat the way he taught the DA, and even more than he trains the others, since Issei no longer has Boosted Gear. 3) I would rather see Koneko with Harry and Rias, than Akeno. Rias would be much more comfortable with Harry having a pet kitten, than with Akeno. Akeno's habit of always pushing the boundaries, by the way, is very much a sub trait, and I would love to see a new and improved Issei reign her in. 4) Gasper. I don't think you have too many, but Gasper never really seemed to fit even in canon. It was like he was thrown in there to satisfy the SJWs who whined about there being no LGBT characters in the show. If I was writing it, Harry's new power would allow him to make Gasper happy, and actually turn him female. Gasper would be delighted, and would make a great pet sub for Issei. Horse for the Force. Not going to comment, as I'm not really into that story. Other questions: The only one I really have an opinion on was about a separate poll to include Semblance of Hope. I would be happy with that, as it's one of the ones I truly enjoy. Anyway, this has become way longer than I intended, so I'll leave it there. As always, thanks for writing, and for posting it where we can enjoy it. Duncan
