May Patron Only Poll Winner and Announcements (Patreon)

Hello folks! May first is here, and thus the May Patron Only poll is going to be closed today!  In other news, I followed the debate/poll about the future of the carry over effect with interest.

Several key points were revealed: Most of you like the carry over effect.  At least, those who voted in the NUMBERS ONLY poll.  Out of 457 votes 261 of you voted for keeping it because it keeps less popular stories moving.            Heh, most politicians wish they could win a poll with those kinds of numbers.

But Cormag81 (with his cool Prussian Looking image, wish the phrases at the bottom were easier to read LOL) Phyr, and Darkwingedeagle pointed out that maybe half of the previous month’s votes was too much.  So for the HP and Ranma polls, I will be cutting it down to a fourth, then, if one of the fics hasn’t been updated in three months, I will up it to half. We will see how that goes from here. 

And don’t worry Slick458, Lostone2, I am also a fan of Bhaalson.  Whenever FILFy isn’t in the poll, I will vote for it.  That’s 400 votes right there.

That is another point I will state now.  I want to FINISH FILFy and Making Waves. Because of that, I will be putting the carry over effect on hold for now in the Patreon only poll this month.  Your votes will decide the winner here on the Patron Only poll, and I will try to also get a Making Waves chapter out.   I will try to do this every month when FILFy is not in the HP poll.  I can control the size of the chapters for Fate, Magic and Bhaalson, just as I do with Stallion and my other Ranma fics.

I have also decided to shift Heroes of the High Seas around between the polls.  I want to see how it does against specific fandoms.  That, and this month at least it will bring the number of stories in the Ranma poll up to 3 to match the HP poll.

So, with that out of the way, here is the results of the May Patron Only Poll:

Heroes of the High Seas earned a disappointing 655.  Ouch. But normal. 

King of Champions again surprised me, earning a great 1,480 but still coming in only at third place.  Weird.  Again, the confrontation with Ozpin should have been a draw, but isn’t as big a one as I thought. 

In Second place is Making Waves, with 1,571 votes.  Good.  Hopefully that means people will be happy if I can get a chapter of it out this month too.   

Which obviously means that Death’s Avenger 1,643 votes.

Those close votes are what I love to see guys, and is partially why I was questioning the carry-over effect.  So while I know I can’t please everyone with these announcements, I hope I won the approval of the majority of you LOL.

Work will commend on Death’s Avenger tomorrow, and I hope to be done it by the eighth and sending it off to the editors. Today I will work on Grammarlying FILFy and then posting it over on fanfic sometime today or tomorrow. I will be posting the Ranma poll tonight, and the HP poll tomorrow. That will also be the priority list going forward. I will Finish DA, jump to Ranma, then back to HP and then last to Making Waves.
