How do Ranma fans.  Six thousand words done on FILFy already… albeit most of that is just one scene but… yeah, my problems with keeping the chapters of that fic small are well documented.

Anyway, what most of you are here for is the Ranma poll for April.  Two reminders before we get to it though: Stallion won in March, so it won’t be on this poll. And Because of last month, the Ranma fic is the third priority this month.  So this poll won’t have a set end, just whenever I finish the Patron only poll.    

Now, with that out of the way, here are the two choices this month:

The Effect of a Horse and a Dragon - Mass Effect/Ranma crossover: Protests about the actions of Spectre Vasir fall on deaf ears as Tela randomly decides to drop Ranma off at the predetermined point to another freighter, who in turn will deliver him to the Shadow Broker. Meanwhile, she continues on her way with Herb. Upon arrival, Tela is asked a few uncomfortable questions upon arriving with only one of the two martial artists from the human Senator, who has pushed himself to be part of the questioning.  Herb is brought before the Council and woken up, with predictable results for anyone who actually knows him. During this rampage, Herb meets with an old krogan who proves to have more than two brain cells to rub together, and breaks many objects large and small. A force sent to the ship Vasir arrived in find the Asari crew and decide to wake them up for questioning in turn, which proves to be a mistake, as Tevos’ day goes from bad to worse. Elsewhere, the shadow broker unveils his newest acquisition, only to find that perhaps just this once, the ultimate predator might have found a prey that is just a bit too much. Unfortunately, you only have to be unlucky once, leaving Ranma to pull a Ryoga and wonder where the hell he is now.

Gods and Devils and Wild Horses, Oh My – Highschool DxD/Ranma crossover: Ranma faces off with a Ken from his past, intent on wrecking him as embarrassingly as possible.  Meanwhile, Saeko and Asia go for a swim in an effort to get to the bottom of the mystery of the strange gate that Saeko can see and Ranma can’t.  Elsewhere in the city, Rias and Rika’s investigations turn up some interesting things, making Rias aware of how strong the Shinto religion is, if in very odd ways, specifically to do with the local priesthoods.  This leads her to the surprising conclusion that the Astaroth clan has some holdings in the area, a line of inquiry that ends at around the same time Copycat’s nine lives run out. Unfortunately, Saeko finds herself alone facing off against a certain devil who really doesn’t understand when no means no, and has brought along what can only be called battle nuns to the party.  Saeko attempts to prove that one samurai trumps that, holding out hope for Ranma’s return, only to get Rika and Shizuka instead.  This leads to even more public trouble, with word getting back to Lord Beelzebub and Ranma finally arriving to make his displeasure plain.
