Chapter 250: Back with Nami

Vivi jumped back into the arena with the fruit in hand.

“Alright Sabo, open up!”

Burgess placed himself in her way, his massive open hands reaching to grab her.

“No!” He shouted. “That belongs to my Captain!”

Vivi had no intention to confront this man directly, at least not for now. That was a headache for future Vivi to deal with.

She pushed out most of the water contained inside her body while still in the air. 

The torrent of liquid surrounded Burgess, submerging him in a massive sphere of water.

Of course, this by itself would serve to do little more than serve as a little distraction.

But Vivi was not done yet.

“Model 13…Ice Prison!”

The bubble of water became smaller and smaller as she compressed it and changed it until it became a cube made of an ultra crystalline ice that showed clearly the figure of Burgess, trapped inside and unable to move.

“That thing is beautiful, it almost looks like a precious stone. Is it really ice?” Observed Sabo.

“Yes, a highly reinforced ice. But against that monster is not going to last for long.”

Vivi said as she hurried her steps. Her prison was already starting to show cracks.

“Okay Sabo, say ahh…” She lifted the fruit on her right hand and aimed.

“Wait, you don't need to…at least turn it around…ah!!”

Sabo shouted as Vivi pushed the blue pineapple inside his open mouth,

The revolutionary closed his eyes as he painfully chewed the magical fruit.

“Ah…I thought I was going to die.” Cried Sabo.

“How exagerated…I know it tastes awful but...” Vivi rolled her eyes.

“You sent it with the pointy leaves first! at least you could have turned it around.” Sabo complained with tears in his eyes.

“But it was more comfortable to hold like that…for me.” Vivi looked away.

“You know…” Bartolomeo approached them. “You only needed to take one bite…”

“Oh, that's right!. I forgot about that.” Vivi gave Sabo an apologetic expression.

Sabo looked ready to start yelling at her, but then…the ice prison exploded.

Burgess roared with rage as his muscles expanded. His face was red and his eyes were bloodshot.

“I'm going to kill you for that!” He screamed at Vivi.

Meanwhile, she hurried up to reabsorb as much of her water as she could.

Burgess was not willing to give her time for that and went for an attack.

“Hado punch!”

She was about to move away when she noticed that something had gotten in the way.

Burgess's fists collided with an invisible barrier and were stopped.

“I won't let you touch her!” Bartolomeo screamed. His whole body trembled as he struggled to maintain the barrier.

“Thanks for the help, Bartolomeo. I'll remember your name from now.” Thanks to his delay, she was able to reabsorb all of the water into her body and was now ready.

“Well, Sabo…you deal with this now.” She told him.

“Oh…and don't let this guy die.” Vivi pointed at Bartolomeo.

“Wait!” Sabo shouted at her but she was already flying away.

"Halt!" The captain of the guards shouted at her.

"Fire!"

They started to shoot their rifles but Vivi just ignored the bullets and disappeared.

Her feet landed on the other wall of the Colosseum and she was able to get a good view of the surroundings. 

There were signs of a battle right outside of the building, whatever happened here, it had ended quickly.

She was not able to feel their presence nearby so she pushed her ability further.

As her eyes became brighter, her range exploded outwards.

"There you are…"

She was able to locate them all. Luffy seemed to be chasing after Doflamingo. 

Zoro was by himself.

Sanji was together with Viola.

Franky, Usopp, Robin, Chopper, Brook…they were in different parts of the island.

Then she found her…Nami was close by, just a few streets away from her and she was by herself.

Vivi made her decision on where to go next. 

Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji can take care of themselves and the rest are most likely working together with the little ones to infiltrate the toy factory.

Vivi flew through the sky for a moment before descending onto a busy street. She landed right in front of an orange-haired girl who was wearing a familiar black suit.

"Hey girl!, did you miss me?" Vivi said as her boots touched the ground.

Nami yelped and jumped back, she took out her weapon and got ready to fight her attacker.

"Vivi?..." Nami stared in shock at the girl they had come to rescue.

"But…I thought…"

Vivi ground.

"Sorry, I got tired of waiting and rescued myself. I hope you don't mind."

Nami didn't say anything, instead, she jumped onto her and kissed her lips with passion.

The citizens around them stared in awe. All of a sudden, a blue-haired girl with a red cape came flying, started talking to another foreigners-looking girl and now they were kissing. They didn't know what to make out of it.

Noticing the stares, Vivi took firm hold of Nami and brought her closer.

"Let's find a more private place to talk."

She said before lifting Nami and flying away.

The duo landed on one of the tallest rooftops some short distance away but far from any prying eyes.

"I have a lot to ask." Started Vivi.

"But first…why are you wearing that?"

The black suit that Nami was wearing was the same one that she 'borrowed' from that CP9 agent back during their adventure in Enies Lobby, two years prior. On top of the suit, she was also wearing a black hat, that Nami had no doubt borrowed from Robin since she never uses hats like those.

"Law told us to wear more discrete clothes to help us blend in… I didn't have any suitable so I borrowed this from your wardrobe. I hope you don't mind…how does it look on me?" she asked with a seductive voice.

"Oh…it looks amazing…I could eat you right here." She said before kissing her again. 

"But…since we are talking about clothes. What the heck are you wearing? a metallic bikini and a cape?"
