Chapter 211: Defeating a yeti is tough

"Boom!"

"Soru!"

She dodged another explosive shot.

'What an annoying fighting style. They just shoot and run. Using the low visibility of the area as cover…but you can't hide from me.'

Although this body was not even close to her own in terms of speed and strength, it was still quite powerful. Tashigi had trained herself very hard for the past two years and it shows.

With one more push, she had closed the gap to her oponent.

"Damn it!" The giant man cursed as he took another shot.

Her head moved out of the projectile path before he even pressed the trigger.

Tashigi(Vivi) was still a few meters away. He jumped in the air and made a swift kicking motion.

"Rankyaku".

The air rippled under the pressure, creating an air blade that traveled toward its intended target.

The giant man cried in pain as his shoulder was cut.

But she immediately realized that the cut was very shallow.

"What a tough hide…or maybe my mastery over this technique is not enough."

The only reason for her to learn the 'tempest kick' was to create her own version that she called 'water blade', but she never practiced it much after that.

"Of course is tough!. Do you think you can pierce the hide of a yeti with a puny technique like that? Now stop moving so I can shoot you and go home, It's very cold here!"

Tahisgi(Vivi) looked at the giant creature in front of her. It looked humanoid but completely covered in thick white fur, and it was shivering in the cold for some reason.

"Can't you just put some more clothes?"

"Ah!" He made a 'Why didn't I think of that before?' face.

"Why do I find myself fighting an idiot again?..." she lamented.

The yeti lifted the rifle again and shot another explosive shell.

Tashigi(Vivi) rushed forward, avoiding the explosive in the process, and jumped. Her right fist turned completely black before it connected with his face.

"Ouch!" The yeti found himself being pushed back a bit by the force of the impact and some blood started to trickle down his lip.

"Tsk, armament haki is not going to be enough either since  I lack the strength to knock him out."

Tashigi was never the type to punch and kick since she relied on her sword skills, so her attacks were lacking in power compared to someone like Sanji for example.

"That was not bad…but you won't win with attacks like those." The yeti took hold of his rifle like it was a club and prepared to strike her down with it.

An idea came to her mind, there was another technique she had practiced for a while but never had the chance to use in a real fight.

She clenched her fists and waited for her oponent, becoming completely focused.

"Take this!" The giant yeti brought up while wielding it with both hands and then moved it down in a vertical motion, hoping to crush his target beneath its weight, like he had done many times before.

However, for someone like Vivi, who had achieved great mastery of observation haki, it could not be easier to dodge.

She used soru to move ahead, positioning herself right before him as his rifle hit the spot behind her.

Tashigi(Vivi) then, put her closed fist together and hit him around his belly area.

"Rokuogan!"

The giant opened his eyes widely and spat a mouthful of blood before falling backward and passing out.

This was Rob Lucci's most powerful technique, and one that attacked the internal organs, instead of the surface. So, no matter how tough his defenses are, the Rokuogan can get past them.

Tashigi(Vivi) started to pant hard. That technique took a serious toll on the body of the user too.

"Well, that was easy." She said.

"It didn't look easy." Zoro appeared from behind some rocks.

"I was wondering how long you were going to wait there." She smiled.

"We're you worried about me or about this body?"

He frowned deeply.

"When are you going to stop with those jokes…I already said that there is nothing between me and that marine. She just happened to look like someone I knew."

"For your information, I only half-joke about those things. I think you two would be cute together. " She chuckled.

"That technique you used at the end, what was that? I feel like I have seen it before." Zoro hurried to change the subject.

"I took some inspiration from our encounter with the Cp-9. This was something their leader used." She answered.

"That guy with the Pidgeon?, right…I remember now. Luffy defeated him. I don't remember any of the others using that one. I guess only the leader could use it." Zoro seemed to be thinking about something.

"I'm surprised to see you take an interest in some hand-to-hand combat technique. I thought you were only interested in swords."

She got closer to Zoro and gave him a mischievous smile.

"You want me to teach you?, Maybe I will if you ask nicely, hehehe."

His expression changed to an angry one.

"Who said I want to learn anything from you? Tsk…annoying…" He started to walk away.

"Wait, Zoro!" She called.

"I told you, I'm not going to ask you!" He shouted.

"Is not that,  you going the wrong way…"

She pointed to the right.

"We left Sanji over there."

Zoro looked a bit flustered for a second.

"I knew that! Just wanted to make sure you did too."

He changes direction before starting to walk again…the wrong way.

'How is this possible? he just saw me point the right way and still got it wrong…' She wondered how powerful Zoro's sense of direction…or lack of it, was.

"Oi, wait!" She shouted again.
