Chapter 118: Strawhats vs Pacifista

“They are so awesome!” Said Chopper with excitement.

“ I don't think it will go down that easily.” Said Robin.

"What a tough body, it was almost like hitting a steel wall," Said Luffy.

"That's because it was a steel wall. When I fought the real Kuma, he was already reinforced with steel plating. But this thing seems to be completely made up of that stuff". Explained Vivi.

"If this is not the real Kuma, then who is it? He doesn't have a twin, right?" Asked Sanji.

"I think the important part is that this guy doesn't seem to have Kuma devil fruit powers, otherwise, he would be teleporting around and using those shockwaves," Zoro concluded.

The robot stood back up and aimed both hands at them.

"Tsk…already up again" Zoro complained.

"Roseo metel!" Before it could shoot again, Chopper transformed and used his strongest attack on the machine's chest.

The fake Kuma recovered quickly and was about to attack Chopper.

"It's not only those four that you are fighting."

Franky came running and got to his side.

"Strong hammer" He hit Kuma on his face and then continued with a barrage of punches.

"Franky boxing"

Kuma dodged his last punch and gave him a counter.

"Uhggg" Franky went flying.

"Spider net" Robin created a net of hands and used it to catch Franky.

"He can't take us all! let's go!" Shouted Usopp. 

"Watch out below" Warned Brook as he descended from the sky.

"Here I come…Swallow bond en avant!"

Brook performed a downward stab, aiming at Kumas shoulder.

The hit made a loud clanking noise but caused no damage to the robotic Kuma.

In response, Kuma opened its mouth and started to charge his laser beam.

"Wait- Wait, you don't want to" Brook was defenseless in the air.

"Hissatsu!...atlas suisei" Usopp sent a barrage of fire bombs at Kuma.

It didn't do much damage but it did distract it enough for Brook to get away.

"That was so scary!" Brook was running as fast as he could. " I almost die…again."

“Huh?, there is something wrong with it!” Chopper pointed out. 

Sparks started to appear around ‘Kuma’.

“What?!, are you telling me that my explosion took him out?” Asked Usoop with shock.

“Not quite, but they definitely did some damage to his internal circuits or whatever he has inside.” Said Vivi.

The robot turned to look at Nami who was running around.

“Nami!, watch out, he is looking at you!” Warned Sanji.

‘Kuma’ started to charge another mouth beam.

“Ochenta fleur…mano!” Robin created several big hands around his shoulders and smashed his mouth close as he was about to shoot.

A loud sizzling noise was heard as smoke came out of its mouth, and then it exploded.

“Alright!, he fired the beam inside his mouth and self-destructed!” Shouted Usopp.

The robot fell to its knees but it was still moving.

“Not enough!” Said Vivi. She then sent a ball of compressed water that exploded in his face. 

“Vivi!, disconnect the water and leave it there!” Shouted Nami as she approached, staff in hand.

Vivi understood what she wanted. She broke the connection with the water that was covering ‘Kuma’. The only way to recover that mass of water now would be to get close enough to touch it, but at least she would not feel what Nami was about to do.

“Thunder lance tempo!” Nami created a spear of lightning that went through the robot’s body and was amplified by the water Vivi left.

A lot of smoke was coming out of its body now.

“That was amazing guys!” Cheered Chopper.

“Don't lower your guard!” Warned Zoro.

‘Kuma’ suddenly moved again, he extended both arms and shoot laser beams out of its palms that exploded nearby the crew.

“Ah!!, he’s gone berserk!” Said Usopp.

“If you lose your head….you lose the fight.” Said Sanji as his leg started to heat up.

“Pass him to me!” Demanded Zoro as he prepared his swords.

Sanji reappeared right in front of ‘Kuma’

“Diable jamble…flambage shoot!” He kicked it and push it back.

“Kiki…kyuutouryuu…Ashura (Phantom nine-blade style)” Illusionary arms wielding swords appeared behind Zoro.

“What's going on?” Shouted Brook.

“He is multiplying!” Cried Chopper

“Makyuusen! (Demon nine flash)” Zoro slashed the robot’s body nine times in an instant.

“Gear third…” Luffy prepared.

“Soru!” Vivi used her movement technique to get behind ‘Kuma’. Both her arms had been turned into spinning vortexes.

“Double spinning blast!” She hit the back of ‘Kuma’ and sent him flying right up in the air where their Captain was ready to receive him.

“One more!” Shouted Franky.

“Finish him, Luffy!” Said Nami.

“Gomu gomu no…”

“Smash him to pieces!” Shouted Usopp.

“Giant…rifle!” The giant twisted arm of Luffy, unleashed its full power as it crushed the robot like a bug.

Its body was smashed against the rocky ground with a tremendously loud noise, leaving behind a big crater.

The crew was left exhausted and looking at the place where it landed.

“Huff huff…did we get him?” Asked Sanji.

Luffy was in his tiny form and could not move or even talk at the moment.

“I hope so…I’m a bit tired.” Said Zoro.

“Well…I’d say that he is done.” Said Usopp while looking at the immobile foe.

“He kinda looks like it would start to move again at any moment… it's creepy.” Said Nami.

“If he does, I think we are done for…” Said Usopp.

“Maybe instead of fighting we should consider running away.” Suggested Chopper.

“We should probably defeat anyone that we think we can. After all, they will not stop coming after us.” Said Robin.

“Anyways…what was that thing?. Vivi was right, that was not the same Kuma we faced back then.” Said Zoro.

“If he is a modified human like me. The base must have been human, that means he should be the twin brother of Kuma or something like that..” Said Franky

“What are the odds that he had a twin?” Said Usopp.

“What if that thing was never human, to begin with?” Vivi suggested.
