Yall… I didn’t think the hype could be met! But it is actually so great! I got hype and emotional in this one! It’s 4 hours so prepare yourself. Greatest 3rd movie in a trilogy ever!

Objectively one of the best movies ever. Though after so many rewatches fellowship I think becomes the favorite out of nostalgia. The extended versions of the movies are some of the best storytelling I've ever seen. Makes me wonder what it would be like to see if some of the classic novels with stories that have lasted so long put in billion dollar movies, like to lesser degree the recent mini series for a Christmas carol I thought was pretty cool.

Also one thing I always have considered when thinking about gollum is that the ring really is sentient. When deagol found the ring it was the first time anyone had touched it in 2500 years. in that moment the ring knew this was the chance to get closer to reuniting with sauron, so it was calling out to smeagol and deagol more than it did to anyone in the entire series . Deagol wanted the ring too, he choked smeagol in the fight as well, but smeagol broke free. I believe that whoever found that ring in the river was doomed BIlbo and Frodo where never the same after carrying the ring. so i guess my point is Sams the real hero lol
