Shruti & Dre react to the 61st episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood | "He Who Would Swallow God"

Description

"Millions of lifeless bodies litter the landscape of Amestris, and a being with the power to create suns is unleashed upon the world. Unless Hohenheim has something amazing up his sleeve, all is surely lost."

Kimblee may have made some really messed up choices throughout his life, but in this war he wasn't on one side or the other. What he cared about was seeing people stand by their beliefs and convictions. You saw it in his battle with Alphonse before, he sat down and questioned Al's convictions to not kill and not use the philosophers stone as the easy way out. Al was determined to do things the right way and Kimblee respected that. In his scene with Pride here, he stepped in because Pride turned against his belief that Homunculi were superior to the humans and attempted to "become" a human in order to save himself. Kimblee is the perfect example of what an anti-hero should be in my opinion
