So glad you started this show! Some of the terms of the show take a sec to get used to unless you've played the video game. I'll go over some of them from this episode. Sandy(Sandevistan) is the cyberware piece that gets attached down the spine as seen in the first scene. It essentially makes you super fast for short bursts which almost seems like you are stopping time. "Eddies" is the pet term for euro-dollars(the currency in Night City). An 'edgerunner' is a person that lives close to the edge of cyberpsychosis. The more cyberware you have attached to your system, the more likely you go psychotic because of the amount of foreign objects attached to your body.
