Just finished and I gotta say again that y'all's thoughts and theories are so enjoyable to hear you discuss and parse out. It's always refreshing to hear from a new point of view on a series we might all gush about! Dre's breakdown on what's going on in Powder/Jinx's psyche this episode mirrors much of what I'd felt about her at this point - she commonly dissociates from what we would consider as 'Powder' and instead, as 'Jinx' the lives of other people are completely irrelevant for as long as she doesn't 'fail' who she's trying to please. Tech is evolving faster in their world than what the Piltover elite knows what to do with it and Jayce is sitting on a throne of power to decide what he alone, not necessarily with Viktor, wants to do with it. And what of Viktor - is he as genuine as he seems to be or is there an ulterior motive? Gosh this series and each episode is so entirely rich of content the more you peel back the layers! Just a couple things I wanted to add in case you missed it: - There's another sweet transition near the end of the episode that made me smile during a rewatch: as Jinx is cracking the code to hextech, a bead of blue sweat drops down her face - it's immediately match cut to the purple/pink 'blood' Sevika is dripping onto the floor of Silco's office. The animation team and editors just love flexing their skills! - The closing shot with Silco saying, ".....Back from the dead?!" mostly implies he had not known Vi was alive this whole time - remember in the last episode he had said to Jinx, "Your sister is gone and you know that as well as I do". It's a small detail but it does give us insight that he truly believed Vi to be dead and most likely Marcus had thrown Vi immediately into jail after he drugged her during the events of ep3. Vi had been in jail likely from that day.
