So there are only 4 modern day "Special Grade" sorcerers (Gojo, Yuta, Geto and Yuki). "Special Grade 1" is a weird translation from Japanese. The "Special" here just means not through ordinary means - they are Grade 1 sorcerers which achieved the rank outside of Jujutsu High. Special Grade sorcerers are unique and are grades that can't be attained just by training - they're just born broken. Grade 1 is the highest rank a sorcerer can achieve through work.
