IT WAS KEITH SHADIS ALL ALONG! (the translation via subs on his name is slightly incorrect) I really love EPs like this that give insight into information you get in the very first few you see, this giving more backstory to literally EP2/3, when stuff like that happens it just makes the story that much more detailed. I hope you guys buckle yourselves in with some snacks because you wont want to stop watching the last 12 eps of the season :P

They're about to find out why a few of the episodes in the back half of this season are rated by IMDB as the highest rated episodes of all time; not just compared to other anime, but in all of media. I feel like Keith was actually trying to save Eren. since he’s Carla’s son, he probably didn’t want to have to deal with the guilt of letting him pass just to be eaten (which happened like 2 times already)
