Ill just point out both sides so they can decide for themselves. The after credit scene shows something that makes you ask yourself how did this situation come about and what led to this moment? Some might consider that spoilery.If you watch it you'll slowly see that unravel but if you skip it you don't miss anything other than the interesting visuals that accompany this; its an edited version of the credit roll + post credit scene. You might get enjoyment from speculation about how the events came to be or you might find yourselves "spoiled" that such events didn't take you by surprise due to seeing the scene multiple Eps before it happens.

One of the big tragedies that often gets overlooked is that Rod Reiss really did try, desperately, to save humanity. I'm glad you noticed that and watched those scenes back.

While it's true that many people saw it while watching the episode for the first time, I would say most if not everybody who blind watched the after credits didn't expect to see those "spoiler" scenes either. You guys will still enjoy the show regardless but if you like to not know what to expect at all, I'd say skip it. If you don't care either way, by all means go for it. Either way, you two are my favorite AOT reactors regardless!
