Big character moment for Sasha, she's often a goofball but when she has her moments she pulls through, shes known for having keen instincts from her time hunting in the woods, you can always count on her intuition.

I've seen this episode many many times but I never noticed that move Sasha did was the same one she used on her dad LOL

Little known easter egg and not really a spoiler because this is never brought up in the anime - the Titan that was eating the little girl's mother is/was Connie's father. Ragako (Connie's hometown) and Dauper (Sasha's hometown) are neighboring villages inside Wall Rose. The building where the 104th were being "watched" in episode 1 is the only thing in between the two villages.
