Hey early R&D supporters! Something I have been playing around with is the idea of turning some comics into fully voiced motion comics.

This is a very rough experiment, as you'll see/hear from the voice and camera work. But is something I am thinking about doing more of in the future, and if anyone has any thoughts or feedback I'd be happy to hear it!

Please enjoy!

A Held Within Motion Comic Experiment

Interesting! The voice work is fine, but the lack of "animation" of the drawings doesn't really work for me - I think they really need to move rather than just have pan-n-scan views on them. The movement could even be super-crude, but doing things like having a picture with her mouth closed and one with it open, then cycling between them in time with the vocals would do a lot, I think. Or one where she has "slid halfway down the body" on the way down, etc. Incidentally, something about the video prevents it from being viewed from here on the Patreon site - you have to click the YouTube link to view it there. Not a huge burden, but thought I'd mention it.

This was hot, loved the voice work, but in general I don't love motion comics. A lot of work goes into animation and I don't think you'd get a return on your investment. I think this opens another possibility of doing a "transformation radio show" With your voice actors and some sound effects.
