PAGE 79 

Panel 1

Violet and Melissa take seats a little distant from Sierra, Pussybrain, and Clara. Cindi sits next to Sierra and the laptop. The Sorceress begins her class.

SORCERESS: I believe that accounts for everyone, and I want to start as quickly as possible. Since its inception this class has taken a variety of directions from my original plan. So you’ll have to forgive me, I have a lot to cover and some of this may come across disjointed.

Panel 2

The Sorceress speaks to the students and motions off panel up towards the back of the room with one hand.

SORCERESS: Some of you know that magic is real. Some of you don’t. My plan had been to make all of you my new apprentices. So I’d like to introduce my first apprentice and some of her work…

Panel 3

Colleen flies into view. She is struggling to carry beneath her a plastic hamster cage. Inside that cage are shrunken versions of Rhea and Phoebe who appear to be perfectly happy and ignorant of their predicament. They are roughly the same size as Colleen.

SORCERESS: Colleen, share what’s happened with these two...

COLLEEN: Uhg, well, shit, not long ago they were turned into a cat woman and devil girl who had to make-out with each other all night every night...

Panel 4

Colleen places the hamster cage atop the stool and lands on it exhausted. Rhea and Phoebe continue to enjoy themselves.

COLLEEN: When I recently visited them one wished they could have a life without responsibility, and the other wished it could happen through only small changes, so now they’re the size of hamsters and think themselves as nothing more than pets.

Panel 1

The Sorceress pats the space in front of the podium microphone. Colleen flies over to it.

SORCERESS: Colleen, you know the responsibilities of being a good apprentice, and what happens if you’re a bad one. Why don’t you share a little of what you’ve done?

Panel 2

Colleen stands in front of the microphone and speaks into it.

COLLEEN: Once I was a student just like you all. And then, because of a magical time loop, I ended up back in time and was taken in as an apprentice by the Sorceress. After she taught me many magics I betrayed her and ended up as a genie. And you know what? I liked being a genie. It was fun. Magic was fun...but then Cindi found me!

Panel 3

Colleen points at Cindi, who crosses her arms in anger as Colleen complains about her.

COLLEEN: Cindi thought she could outsmart me. Turn my wishes around. And that only caused the magic to get more and more out of hand. Because if I’ve learned one thing from all of this you have to respect the magic. You can’t outsmart it. You can’t sneak around it. You have to respect it from the beginning.

Panel 4

Colleen sullenly looks back at the Sorceress. The Sorceress smiles with victory. The Sorceress holds up one hand into which the Tina & Andrea thong POOFS! into pinched fingers.

COLLEEN: And...and so you all should respect the Sorceress. If you try and abuse whatever power she gives her you could end up statues, or a tiny nymphomaniacs…

SORCERESS: Or combined together as a single thong!
