I've long believed in writing stories that cover my tenants of Cause, Process, and Impact. But, sometimes that means I can end up writing something that's pretty lengthy before I even get to the transformation.

So, here's the question I pose; do you prefer reading shorter stories that concentrate mostly on the transformation Process itself, Cause and Impact be damned?

Or is part of the satisfaction in reading what brought things to where they are, and how they will change?

Let me know!

TBH I'm just in it for the Geniefication :v

The Process is usually the best part, but you have a way of writing the Cause and Impact that make them compelling to read all the way through.

2021-12-06 09:06:26 It’s that last panel in “the game” where she suddenly sprouts cat ears and a tail and you sooo want to see how she reacts to it on the next page. Or Destiny’s reaction to braying like a donkey & F$& Udders reaction to her name change in “Sex in the Cards”. The reactions & dealing with changes are the most fun, especially if they randomly occur to surprise or frustrate the character. Random, costume, body or behaviour changes rock.

As much as I enjoy writing stupid long stories, I prefer reading shorter ones.

And I won't be using this as an excuse to not work on shorter ones, just trying to judge if I had misplaced my own preferences for many readers'.
