Well, the week is over, and the year is over. Fortunately Steam saw fit not to put Dwarf Forge or Ixion on sale, so I've been reasonably productive between holiday activities.

I don't really have a new year's resolution this year. There's nothing big I want to change. I'm actually pretty happy with how things are right now, so I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing.

I'm kind of a big deal - I mean, I've got 7 whole Patrons and a story read by *Hundred* (singular) of people. Hahaha.

No, kidding aside. Thank you to each and every one of you. I was a pretty huge deal for me when I got 1 patron, and when Tenebroum ticked over to a hundred followers I was beyond Psyched. That's why I just want to keep doing what I'm doing. Slow and steady growth is just fine by me.

My 2023 Goals:

  • Start some college classes for continuing education (Not writing related).
  • Finish Letter of the Law (40ish more chapters to go)
  • Finish Part 1 of Death After Death (15ish more chapters to go)
  • Finish Tenebroum (60+ chapters to go) AND get to posting Tenebroum twice a week.

These three will take a good chunk of the year to complete, but I actually have three other goals.

  • Finish A sci-fi novel I started years ago. (Looking for beta readers on this one if anyone is interested.)
  • Start Golemancer. This will be a _very_slightly_ more traditional dungeon core/gamelit book around 50 chapters long. I plan on starting it when Death After Death is complete. It's still pretty out there. I should have a few chapters for you guys to read as bonus content on Patreon in February or March. Some of my ideas for this one are kind of strange, so since I happen to have a few dungeoncore aficionados, I will definitely be looking to get some feedback... that and I love giving you guys bonus content.
  • Start Incursion. This will be a 30-40 chapter gamelit story the follows multiple protagonists. If I had to sum it up I would say it starts as gamelit lord of the flies/lost and then spins slowly out of control from there. I don't plan on starting this one for a while. Probably not until this summer at least.

I'll talk about both of these projects more in the near future.

2022 was a good year for me, as a writer at least. There were some set back in my personal life, but from a writing perspective I feel like I hit a home run. Thank you so much for being a part of that!

Golemancer sounds dope, I await further news with abated breath.
