Character Comeback: New Rotation Plan (Patreon)

Hi everyone! I want to tell you about some changes this year regarding character rotations.

So, how it used to be:

Annual poll

Character 1

Character 2

Character 3

Character 4

Character 5

Character 6 - phased out. Replaced by a new character

Now it'll be:

Poll every 2 years

Character 1

Character 2

Character 3

Character 4

Character 5 - takes a 2-year break. Replaced by a new character

Annual poll

Character 6 - Bringing back one of the phased-out characters for 1 year

It might not be entirely clear how this works, so I've written probable questions and answers.

Q: Why these changes?

A: Some people miss old characters, so these changes allow one of them to return for 1 year (they can join the poll to return again in 2 years).

Q: Why conduct the poll every 2 years now for adding a new character?

A: 2 years give the new character a chance to shine and gather more fans. Also, I don't have as many ideas for adding new characters every year at the moment.

Q: Won't the same phased-out character win every year, blocking other phased-out characters from returning?

A: The phased-out character gets 2 episodes, then takes a 2-year break. So, they won't be part of the next 2 polls. This way, other characters always have a chance to return.

Here's the upcoming schedule:

January 8 - Poll for the return of one of the phased-out characters

February 3 - New character

March 2 - Amanda

April 6 - Returned character

May 4 - Cora

June 1 - Mia

And now it's time to start the poll. The winner gets 2 episodes in 2024.
