Choice Paralysis: RPG VOTE (Patreon)

[pictured above, the top videos for the last 30 days]
When I talk about viewership dropping on the channel, a lot of that isn't my active subscribers, but the fact that I used to have evergreen videos. I'd be actively uploading stuff, but whenever I checked my analytics, the month's top videos tended to be stuff like State of Decay 1 & 2, Outer Wilds, The Witness, Divinity Original Sin 2, Disco Elysium, We Were Here, Return of the Obra Dinn, etc.
They just kept going! Living lives of their own for months or years after release, and there's a good chance that their popularity is how a lot of you got here, especially before my essays on the other channel brought in a ton of furries.
At some point though, they all died off. My most popular videos are pretty much always stuff that I uploaded that month, which can be a little scary? The idea that my library of 18,000 videos (yes really) no longer has an enduring lifespan, algorithmically at least. Nothing I've made in the last four years has achieved that kind of evergreen status again, it seems.
Except Disco Elysium. It just keeps creeping its way back into my top 10 lol.
So yeah, I was immediately tempted to make a second playthrough of Disco Elysium back when I beat it. One where I make all the worst choices probably, as a fascist, to see how things change from the communist playthrough. And then it got a voiced re-release. And now this. I remain tempted.

Alternatively, ya'll have been eating up the Fear & Hunter playthrough, and its sequel, Fear & Hunger 2: Termina, is right there. An unusual situation made possible by the first game getting so much attention so long after its release. I don't normally play sequels to games right after the previous one, but we certainly could.
The biggest concern seems to be that the game might have updates coming in the future, which we would miss.
I'll save myself some heartache and get the censorship mod this time lol
Next up is FFXVI. People seem to love it? I honestly got blind-sided by it, schedule-wise, having completely lost track of the fact that it was coming out. Whoops. I hated FFXV, but FFXVI sounds like a departure from what made that game such a mess? The combat director of Devil May Cry 5? Okay!
I'm curious about it. Though this is the game which, if it loses this poll, I'm most likely to simply never play unless it comes back via the regular Patreon poll (after Fallout: New Vegas or something). Not a mark against the game. It's just that, like most AAA games, if I miss its release window I'm likely to stop thinking about it altogether.

Finally, inevitably, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.
I've covered Yakuza 0-5 and Judgment, with the intent to eventually cover them all, just like with Dark Souls, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill. They've been a wild, rocky ride. I've played at least one per year, with the goal of upgrading to two a year so I can better catch up.

After we "finish" Kiryu's story in 6, we've still got:
Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon
Lost Judgment
(I had to cancel Yakuza: Dead Souls because it's blocked for copyright on youtube)
Next year's Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
aaaaaaaaaaaand
Like a Dragon: Ishin!
They did a remake of one of the previously Japanese-exclusive spinoffs, so our path through the series is once again nonlinear. I wanted to cover Dead Souls between Y4 and Y5 because that's when it was released chronologically. Funnily enough, Ishin was originally released right after Y5, which is where we are, so the remake has pretty great timing! Bummer that they seemingly skipped right over Kenzan, the other similar spinoff.

So what are you feeling, ya'll?
Just try to vote based on what you'd actually watch, and not on whatever game you think is unrelatedly cool. I'm a little worried that between Fallout: New Vegas and Planescape: Torment, people maybe voted on LEGENDARY NAME in both cases but then didn't want to actually sit through the reality of a playthrough of those games. Multiple episodes of Planescape haven't even passed 400 views months later, which, honestly, I didn't think was even possible anymore.
I don't mean to sound bitter lol, it's just bad news for you as well if you don't have anything to watch because you get buyer's remorse, and then have to wait months for that series to go away.
