New $5 Tier for Early Video Access (Patreon)

I've been needing a new intermediate tier on this Patreon for a while now, with $1 being an exceedingly low floor, and $15 being a pretty huge leap to the next tier. It's not a very healthy pledge balance to have, and with my YouTube wage trending downward for the last year as Let's Plays grow out of fashion it's been overdue for a revamp.

The issue has been the question of what I can provide without stretching myself even thinner, as I didn't want to take voting away from the $1 tier and tell them to pay me more for the same thing.

So! New $5 Tier for early access and bonus content.

People seemed to enjoy the early access to the Arches series, so I'm going to attempt to make that kind of perk a fairly regular thing. (I am NOT going to change the access tier for the Arches series. If you pledged $1 to access it, you will maintain access. The new tier is for projects going forward.)

The Tears of the Kingdom post was me testing out another alternative, which is providing links to the unlisted VODs of my recording streams so that you can binge my entire playthrough so far instead of waiting for the finished videos to come out according to the schedule.

Toaster and I have just finished recording the entirety of Fear and Hunger, largely on a whim, without me really having a specific plan for where it would fit in the schedule. So my goal at the moment is to get that edited and uploaded so that it can be another perk for this tier in the meantime. This is not yet available, but it is my current project. I also want to gives access to Firmament as I finish it.

Gaming content aside, this will also be the tier that gets early access to my video essay scripts as those come together, and I want to make all finished video essays Patreon exclusive for one week before they're released to the public. This is all pending availability, of course. I HAVE been working on new scripts these past few months, but finishing them is another story. After two massive three hour projects I'm still feeling out what a "normal" video feels like anymore. Maybe someday I'll have a system down where I have something to put out every month or two.

Miscellaneous bonus videos I make on a whim? Behind the scenes videos? Those would also be in this tier.

Following in the tradition of each tier being in the credits as a different color, the new tier will be green.

Hope this stuff is compelling to some people! Maybe someday I'll be able to afford an apartment lol
