Old arcade space shooter formula (WIP) (Patreon)

This weekend I've made a minigame based on this old arcade game I fondly remember. The formula of protecting your people from alien body snatchers inspired me to draw my own set of aliens, and once I've done that, I told my self, why not make it into a minigame.

Initially I've imagined it being a bit harder, and started from scratch, but turned out with a little modification, I was able to copy repurpose some my top down shooter's code for this one.

I wanted to animate the aliens a little and add some sound effect, and maybe some scrolling for a shiny coat of polish, but ran out of time, those have to wait till the next weekend.
