Since The labyrinth story's background art will be changed for the final game, I'm attempting to learn how to draw pixel art, in case I couldn't find the right artist on time.
After tons of search, I've found the perfect YouTube channel to learn from.
In my first attempt (the dark one) the walls came out alright, but the ground looked too busy and dark, so I decided to try again and limit my color pallet this time, (the light one). The ground doesn't look that bad but the whole image looks too flat.
I think I'm going to go back to the dark one, redo the ground using what I've learned from the second one, and perhaps shrink the doorway a little bit too while I'm at it.

At the moment I'm very slow and just pushing the pixels around hoping something recognizable to form. Hopefully experience would solve those two issues, but don't worry, I'll try to keep it from eating too much from the programing time for renpy minigames.
