This weekend I've revived one of my old projects with a blackjack card game code.
I've wrote it for one of my clients long ago but we've moved unto  another project and this one got abandoned. The code is a bit old and  needs updates but I'm considering to complete it and make the whole game  if there's enough interest in it.
The story is:
The player finds a magical deck of cards and starts capturing, magical monsters, mages or something, (depending on the artist I find)
It will contain several types of card games that the player can challenge the opponents with and win their magic force/point.

I like to move unto making full games as soon as I can find a good artist that's willing to work wit me, and this project is one of the candidates that's suitable for a first game.
Of course, compared to the other idea, this one needs a whole lot of art, but I can be less strict with the art style.

To try it, download the zip file from the attachments, create a new game in renpy, and copy/replace the files in the game folder with the ones from the zip file.

blackjack for renpy

An almost finished blackjack code for renpy. I've wrote it for one of my clients long ago but we've moved unto another project and this one got abandoned. The code is a bit old and needs updates but I'm considering to complete it and make the whole game if there's enough interest in it. Like always it will be available exclusively to my patreons for a while before it goes up on my github: https://www.patreon.com/posts/52182416

If I remember correctly, we see the opponent's cards last in blackjack and when we draw 5 cards, we win the game directly.

oh, I was so tangled in the rest of the code I completely forgot about that, I'll add it next weekend alongside the rest of bugs

How do you reset the game? It won't reset once it's over
