This of type minigame was one of the first ones I've encountered in renpy, I  got a commission to take an existing code and figure out how to change  it to my client's preference. Back then I was a noob, even after doing  the job, I couldn't understand the code at all.
Now that a couple of  years have passed, I've decided to revisit this minigame and make it in  my own style: simple and expandable.
My initial aim was just making  it with simple numbered buttons, but I had the time and you know me...  before I knew it, I've added variable tile size, ability to use images,  animated images, any number of rows/columns, animated shuffle and  cheating options.

Note: the lag in the last puzzle is due to it being animated and my laptop not being able to handle recording while playing.

This is fantastic Thank you for sharing Kia. Curious if this could be extended to a jigsaw type puzzle where you would piece together an item. Limited set of pieces..maybe 6-9. My use case would be a murder scene with a torn clothing article that the player reconstructs and it gets added to inventory. In any case, it’s pretty quiet around here and wanted to say thanks. So thanks again :) Also…really love the latest phone sms system, still trying to get the phone chrome on it and a strange ADVcharacter conflict when coming out of NVL to resolve but overall it works really well.

Sorry about the delayed answer, for some reason I don't get email notifications for comments and find the new comments on weekend when I'm posting. I did consider making a jigsaw version, Just have to figure out the best way to handle the parts that extend into each other, I'll look into it soon. You can contact me on discord: Kia#6810 and we can look into the problem you've mentioned.
