I was surprised when I got an email about a new pledge on patreon because I haven't posted anything  for a long time.
the reason was: when I started my patreon, I realized that it's not a platform that directs more attention to my games, I had to do all of the advertising myself.
I somewhat gave up on posting more about my process even though I had lots to share, my process have slowed down and I focused on working on others games instead.
But looks like something have changed. I got a follower, somebody I didn't had to ask to visit my page, this means something I have done was right.
now I have a reason to start posting, and generate something valuable again, something that shows my appreciation for the pledge and the attention.
so what I have in mind, you might wonder.
  • the first thing is more code snippets for ren'py. I do spend lots of time coming up with codes to add functionality to my games, my plan is to share them exclusively to my patreon followers.
  • next is interface designs, I have few extra interfaces designed that the project didn't take off, I usually get some good money for them but since each client have a different taste, they usually remain in my archive and not many of them get sold to a new client, I can share them with my patreons exclusively.
  • I do render characters and backgrounds every now and then, they will be shared to public for any use.
  • sounds, music, tools, guides, etc... though I have less time to spend on other things I usually make a thing or two that may come handy to the gamer/game developers.

if you're wondering where were I this whole time, I've been reeking havoc on steemit with some bad design works and some other things, you can see my blog there: https://steemit.com/@kiaazad just don't judge the quality of my work by those posts, some of them are intentionally bad.

a shout-out to https://www.patreon.com/BSH_Gaming for motivating me to become active again. I'll try to return the favor as best as I can.
