Prologue: Witch of Betrayal (Patreon)

What's this? Not another Essence chapter, but another chapter nonetheless? What sorcery, with two others just a day or so ago?

Like I predicted, about half the size of a normal chapter. That was just how it had to be, when it's all introspection and trying to be vague enough that it didn't give too much away about the future of the story.

So, which do you think draws people in better? The Prologue, or Chapter 1?
