Payment Structure Update (Patreon)

Yeah. So, Patreon may or may not have already made all of you aware, but I received a notification email myself not too long ago, and the long and short of it is this: whether we want it or not, because of some policy changes by the Apple Store, Patreon is going to switch all pages to the subscription model I talked about in that post.

There isn't much I can do about it, I'm sorry to say. I have no idea how many of you use IOS devices to connect to my content or how many will do so in the future — there's going to be an added fee for subs on IOS, too, and I've been looking at my options for how to deal with that — but this switch seems...not inevitable, but unavoidable.

Now, the good news? For everyone already subbed and reading this by November 2024, nothing changes. You will continue to be charged at the start of the month for the duration of your sub to my page. The only people who will be affected are new supporters after November 2024 and probably those who have to clear their monthly payment with their bank.
