And just to answer a quick question you guys had at the end: ONI is the “Office of Naval Intelligence”, and is kind of considered to be the highest, most top-secret part of the UNSC and Earth government — they’re important for coordinating humanity’s survival efforts and recon in the war against the Covenant, and we have them to thank for the Spartan programs, so they’re on “our side”! But at the same time, they’re also widely considered to be evil. 😅😂 ONI is an effective and necessary organization, but it’s also full of spies, backstabbing, and internal politics (like we see between higher-ups like Parangosky, Ackerson, and Halsey), as well as secret projects on top of secret projects. Lest we forget, the Spartan program may be used to fight the aliens now — but when ONI originally approved it, we hadn’t even met the aliens yet! These kids were all being trained to grow up, put that armor on, and go destroy *other humans* who wanted to rebel against the UNSC 😰😅
