Basically the episode takes place when rudy meets paul in episode 16 and they have that argument. Eris says she is going goblin slaying before rudy meets paul by coincidence thats what this episode is about its about eris being alone for the first time. its the first time she kills people and its her first time reaffirming her own strenght as she doesn't have to compare to rujierd and rudeus with them not being on the battle field. While also giving some lore to cliff's background which will be important and relevant in the future. And she forgets about telling rudy anything because she runs in to him being depressed about the argument with his dad. It matches up with episode 16 when eris also comes home and then later on comforts rudeus.
