you probably figured it out in next episodes, but hes 7 years old here, when she said shes not a kid shes meant only 3 years older shes 10, not old old like Beatrice in rezero, so its still weird just in the other way because hes the older one mentally and i get you but its not just isekai but a lot of anime in general will throw the weird moments at you low key all the time, its unfortunate but its kind of just there. it aint the right answer but you might just be able to phase it out eventually
