"Not all stories need a happy ending" This basically IS the happy ending since the alternative is eternal suffering. But yeah made in abyss has the 11/10 double episode length finale without any action or even progressing the plot of traversing through the cave whatsoever. Its really just some back story for a new character, a mercy killing and riko finally recovering from getting her ass kicked episodes ago.

Made in abyss is a real top tier series man. It is still underrated for how amazing it is even though its fairly well known. I don't like comparing but this is something that deserves to be loved and known not something that is super basic and generic and so overdone like demon slayer.
