They didn’t have enough time to finish the episode because it was coming weekly and the people that were animating couldn’t do it in time but this episode was just a taste of the best fights but if y’all don’t like the animation dropping it is your choice nobody would judge you but the big fights are perfectly animated

If I remember correctly, the animators this episode were testing a new style of animation, to see if it was for them or not, but in future big fights the animation won't be like this if you don't like it, so don't worry, the big fights after this one have phenomenal animation, and you won't be disappointed, I guarantee it! The animation WILL get better after this, trust me.

This fight really did split the community when it dropped lol. Perriot couldn't spare staff and the director we had wanted to go above and beyond because it was the demon awakening. Other than that the story and world building is what really keeps the show on its feet. This episode was done dirty but the worst case of "done dirty" has to go to s3 of seven deadly sins... now that was fucked up.

the animation itself is good but the background let it down. this is probably the most ambitious episode of black clover animation wise. the problem is Black has had the worst production schedule out all the newgen shonen anime. The director for the Black Clover anime purposefully brought in new and upcoming animators and tried out different animation styles, and I agree, while it made the fight dynamic and fluid, most of the art suffered. It was still a great episode, and future BIG fights will have way better consistent animation.

why do u guys keep reacting to it? it looks like you guys are not enjoying it, i don’t think black clover is for you guys, if you haven't enjoyed it after this many episodes I don’t think you’ll enjoy it at all

they were trying to experiment with animation types, yes the animation wasn't appealing at all and the animation does get a lot better. Also, now, the arcs get exceedingly better one after another, Please don't disregard black clover cause of the animation.

Bro I'm sorry but I wasn't feeling the reaction this time around you guys judge stuff way to fast, and was talking over the whole episode complaining about the animation it was wonky because of some particular animators but it wasn't the worst animation ever have you not seen devil man crybaby? This is like standard next level animation although yes it could have been better but it didn't just turn me off from the episode just because of the animation... some people would say the animation is an upgrade. I just feel like you both need to rewatch the episode in your spare time or something

Another thing is you guys jump to conclusions to much yes the demon stuff is similar to Naruto but Naruto didn't make the trope but just comparing it off of that and saying it's yeah its slightly clitche I get it but let's focus on black clover not Naruto. And Chris want it to be explained about how he control the demon but you would say it was just like Naruto if he was just fully taken over so you just can't win can you 😑

I think a lot of y’all think that just because the animation changes from the usual, that means it’s better. It’s not just the art. The animation was weak too. And he said it’s the “worst animation I’ve ever seen” not “worst animation ever”. And they were watching and talking. And it was mostly through the fight and the fight had very little dialogue.
