Best backstory in the avatar franchise

Idk whereabouts you guys are in the show right now, but you have to watch season 2 episode 7 and 8 in one session. Trust me.

We need the finale 🥵

I don’t think there if an official explanation for how blood bending without a full moon is possible. However, the way I see it is that blood bending requires a tremendous amount of power, something most waterbenders only have access to during a full moon. However, if a bender like yakone or Amon can achieve that level of power on their own, then a full moon isn’t necessary.

I feel like he takes the bending away by doing something with blood bending in the brain, since he has to touch their head. There’s probably a bending part of the brain

I see it as the ultimate Chi blocking. If his henchmen can neutralise benders just by hitting pressure points then a bloodbender could do something similar to cut the flow of chi throughout the body.

Okay, So my theory as to how bloodbending without a full moon is possible because it was NEVER said that you absolutely required the full moon. Hama(the bloodbender that taught Katara) said that "only on a full moon, are Water benders at their MOST powerful." Key words: MOST POWERFUL. You only needed power and proper training to perform bloodbending . As for Amon taking bending, A popular theory is that Amon uses the bloodbending to block the flowing chi that powers bending.

Remember the whole "Chakras" thing from the Guru in The Last Airbender? The writers have said, Amon uses bloodbending to basically permanently block your chakras, therefore severing your access to that bending. As for the bloodbending without a Full Moon, Idk. We've already seen "unique" benders, Hama, Combustion Man, even Katara and Zuko tbh, so Yakone and his bloodline were just one of those types of unique benders, and with the proper training...got OP? Idk, the explanation in this episode for both of these things, are all you really get so. I tried to help ya out xD

When’s the next avatar video

Glad you guys enjoyed this episode. The flashback and reveal of Tarrlok's childhood was quite dark. Also, that actually wasn't Aang's voice with young Amon. It sounds very similar though. Aang's voice actor wasn't involved in Legend of Korra. His voice already went through or was at least going through puberty by the time the third season of Avatar came out. He didn't continue voice acting after the end of TLA. He must have been 18 or 19 by the time Legend of Korra came out.
