Katara and Toph being the second and third strongest benders is a pretty big stretch though, there are also Ozai, Iroh, Bumi, Azula(well before Ty Lee and Mai's betrayal and her going insane), Jeong Jeong and Combustion Man(well before he died in an unclear way XD) in the competition after all.

That Zuko vs Azula fight is definitely top tier in the history books, its just everything you want in a fight. And it is emotinal, its a brother vs sister to the fucking death. Like Azula was ready to kill her brother, and Zuko was ready to the same.

This makes me so hyped for the live action actually. Imagine this fight in real life with a decent budget. This show has the potential to go down in history as the best show in history if they game of thrones-ify it. I’m actually not too pissed that the avatar creators left production cause now Netflix will age up the characters, which I personally like cause it means better acting and action.

That’s what I was thinking too they will most likely age everyone up but it still sucks the og writers left the project. HBO could’ve possibly done better than Netflix we’ll have to see

LOL moments: "...It's Katara, if you haven't figure it out." *timing of the dialogue of Aang redirecting lightning. And that Zuko vs Azula definitely up there with Naruto vs Sasuke. I would even say higher because as all the fight scenes actually animate every movement of the characters...(unlike the faster-than-the-eye-can-see-freeze-frame fights in DBZ).
